I wanted to give 3 stars, but honestly their customer service makes it a 4. Everyone is extremely friendly and check on you regularly to see if you need anything. They certainly live their brand - and it shows from the workers, the ambiance, and noon national anthem. I loved the variety of bbq sauces. I opted for the NC style pulled pork sandwich. I felt like neither the coleslaw or pulled pork had much flavor. It was ok, but nothing I would crave again. I will say they didnt skimp on the meat though, and it was a decent sized sandwich. I will likely give this place another try, just because the customer service was great.

Had an absolutely amazing experience getting a take out order today. The gentleman at the counter was the nicest guy ever. He gave us everything we needed to make our take out perfect. Extra sauce samples and suggestions that were dynamite! The food was fantastic. The brisket, pulled pork, Mac and cheese, sausage and beans were killer. The salad looked great, but honestly I didn’t eat that. Family was happy. Well done sir.

I had brisket and some ribs and both of them are absolutely delicious. My date had a chicken sandwich. He said it was very good. Usually they're dry and this was not at all. But the service and the people walking around just to check on you and help you and bring you water and take your dirty dishes was second to none. I will definitely be back

I eat at Mission BBQ each time I visit Jacksonville. This is a counter service BBQ restaurant with 7 different BBQ sauces at each table. Today was the best experience I've had yet. The staff is super friendly and very attentive. The restaurant is clean, the food is great, and comes out quickly. Mission BBQ will continue to be my BBQ stop in the future when I visit Jacksonville. The entire experience from as soon as you walk in, to receiving our food and eating it was a great experience. Ms. Michelle was so sweet and even let us sample some of there menu options for free. I’m usually a pulled pork guy but when I tried the lean brisket it changed my opinion. Would highly recommend this place 10/10!

All the shirt patches they've collected and stapled to the walls of all US Military Branches as well as all branches within the ARMY, NAVY, AIR FORCE, etc.We will be back time and again.

This place was a 10/10. We are in Jacksonville on vacation and came here instead of another BBQ place close by. It was my husband, my three kids and myself. First when we ordered it took us forever to decide, the person who took our order Kaia was so patient, kind informative and sweet. Her manager was also super helpful and kind. Before we even sat down there was a lady that works the dining room (didn't get her name, she was black and sweet as pie) she grabbed a high chair for my two year old and brought it to the table we chose. The entire time we were there she grabbed anything we needed, silverware, condiments, to go boxes, hand wipes, you name it. She definitely gives FIVE STAR service!! Now the food. We ordered the black plate special grilled shrimp, pulled pork, brisket, pulled pork sandwich, Mac and cheese, French fries, cheesy potatoes and jalapeño cheddar sausage link. Everything was a 5. The cornbread was a little dry but that's my only complaint. Whoever hired these individuals hit the jackpot. This team and their food are top tier

We experienced warm hospitality from the moment we arrived. Everyone was very friendly, the food was excellent, and the staff were attentive checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed.
