Great soul food! Everything was fresh & delicious! If you're hungry for some good home cooking, Nana's is your place! And they serve breakfast until 1PM! My only complaint is that the plates didn't come out at the same time. With our party of 5 it was almost 10 minutes between the first and the last person served.

It was the best fried chicken we ever had. You can't go wrong with anything you eat there however the fried chicken was light crispy and absolutely moist and delicious one of the few places we will go back to over and over again

I really wanted to like this place, I really really did. The customer service was impeccable and the menu is put together very well. I asked a lot of questions and received a lot of assistance and help. I ended up ordering the shrimp and fish combo with a side of yellow rice and a dessert. I forgot the name but it's like a cheesecake and it had strawberries in it. The food was well....mediocre. I had to down it in hot sauce. My point of contempt is that the yellow rice is the prepackaged kind. You know, the kind with the fake flakes of green and red peppers in it? It's beautiful to look at but tastes very bland. I know because I mistakenly purchased some in college and it sat in my pantry for 2 years. Overall, I'm very disappointed because the food was not the quality that I expected. I do wish them the best of luck because they were the nicest people ever.

I went NaNa's to have my weekly celebratory cheat meal. Mainly, because it was near my apartment and, well, its Soul food. LoL!! I had the country fried shrimp basket, mac & cheese and baked beans wit sweet tea. They were genuinely and unbelievably SWEET! They were so kind and welcoming to everyone that came in. I mean people were flooding through the doors! I did enjoy my food, However, the shrimp were left in the frier a little longer than what they should have been, but they were still pretty tasty. Eating at NaNa's bought back some really great childhood memories from the midwest where I grew up. My Mom (from South Carolina) made everything from scratch! NaNa's is definitely a Soul food joint that I think is worth at least one try out.

Delish!!!!! Very delicious food. My family and I stopped in after church. Very courteous staff, and the owners came out to greet us. Oxtails, fried chicken (perfectly prepared), best mac & cheese I have ever had! Fresh cornbread. ..greens...cabbage...we are satisfied and full. Delightful family atmosphere. Nana ' s best us the perfect name. Loved it! Will be back. .....oh they bake the best cakes...ordered a German chocolate cake. A must "eat/dine here" place.

Nana's is easy to drive past but make the u turn and come back! Wonderful juicy fried chicken with a shatteringly crispy crust, very good mac n cheese, rice with oxtail gravy and collard greens. Everything was made fresh and was delicious! They even make their own fruit punch . They also serve breakfast and are open until 8pm on Fri and Sat. Its bright and open inside with very pleasant staff. If you want to pay with a debit card and leave a tip at the same time, make sure to tell them to run it as credit so it will ask you for a tip amount.

When we initially went to check this place out, we had only planned to grab menu's and then head across the street to Puerta Plata. After the warm reception and aroma of some good smelling food, we changed our minds and decided to eat in. So glad we did! I initially went for some wings and fries, but then my friend pointed out a sign reflecting that oxtails were served DAILY! Usually foods such as oxtails and pork chops I order to go because I am a bone sucking fool! However, I went for it. I ordered the oxtails, yellow rice with gravy, potato salad and greens. My friend ordered the baked chicken, rice with gravy, black eyed peas and cabbage. Our food came out piping hot and was delicious. The gravy and rice was so good, I seriously had to force myself to stop eating. My oxtails were extremely tasty as well, and yes those bones were thoroughly cleaned by the time I finished! It was like eating at home. I must say NaNa did her thing! I will most definitely be going back soon. They are even open on Sundays for any of the Yelp fam looking for a home-cooked Sunday meal. That was some good eatin'!!!!
