Today, was our second visit to Newk's and very likely our last. We ordered the family meal deal with 2 pizzas and a salad. The pizzas were just ok but the Greek salad looked like it was several days old. Cucumbers were mushy and the lettuce was brown. On our first visit, the food was very fresh but today, not so much. The staff was nice but we won't be back.

The prices were pretty high for such very rude and the downright nasty attitudes of the staff.I mean you charge 60.00 for two people and a baby to order from the counter, at least act a little less condescending there Karen.

Delicious, Fresh Food!! Newk's does a Great job of handling volume -- Efficiently. Similar to Chik-Fil-A, Newk's operates with clearly defined processes in place, making their customers their top priority!!

Love the breadsticks! Have only had a few of the salads here but they are huge and a great value as well. Especially comparing to other bread companies and sandwich places you won't be disappointed!

Absolutely phenomenal service from Mickey, she was the real star of our dining experience. She went above and beyond making our experience as newcomer's as painless possible. My partner enjoyed the French dip, and lobster bisque. Equally well suited was my italian sub, and tortilla soup; which I devoured. The tortilla soup was dense, scrumptious, filling, flavorful, hearty, and beautifully garnished. Mark this couple as return customers.

When I lived nearby, I came here all the time. Always tasty and well made sandwiches. Mac and Cheese is killer. If you like crunchy cracker style bread sticks, they are packaged and basically unlimited... take some home they will stay eatable for years. Negatives? Pizza dough is always soggy and not strong enough to hold toppings (eat with a fork I guess). The prices are borderline expensive (sandwhich, half size Mac and Cheese, and drink will set you back $20+). Outdoor tables are often filthy. Also... can't really blame anybody for this but be aware that frequently, there are large, extremely loud and aggressive crows squawking on/at the outdoor seating... and will steal your food any chance you give them).

The food is always amazing, fresh and delicious. The only issue I had was the floor was sticky and the mens room needed a good cleaning.

My intention was only to peek at the menu and check out the neighboring eateries. However, once I went in, I was so enamored with the menu I was placing my order.I had the margarita pizza with cauliflower crust. It’s not like the traditional margarita pizza. It has a red sauce and only grape tomatoes. So the flavor profile is not there. And the tomatoes do not stay in place because it’s not enough surface to adhere to the cheese. So they just light off.Even though I didn’t really like the margarita pizza. I am definitely going to come back and try, some salads and soup. Even the sandwiches look good.I wish they had locations outside of Jacksonville.Vegetarian options: There is a great variety of meals that are vegetarian here.
