The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy. Donut shop vibes are on 10,000. The customer service is always friendly and pleasant. The prices are great for the size and quality of the donuts, the croissant sandwiches, the CRONUTS ? absolutely live the place and highly recommend you try it out! 500/10
The shop is in the middle of an industrial zone, which is a bit unusual, but hey, my toddler son liked seeing all of the trucks, so no complaints. The shop has plenty of parking available, was clean inside, and has plenty of seating to sit and enjoy your donut.We stopped in about an hour before they closed, so their selection was diminished (no cronuts, sadly), but was still solid. I ordered a half dozen and had at least a bite of them all. The mini cinnamon roll was by far my favorite, with a very strong, quality cinnamon flavor and not overly sweet.The birthday cake and chocolate drizzled old fashioned donuts were both quite sweet, but good.The glazed was all right, sweet and doughy. My son loved the sweet strawberry glazed donut with sprinkles; me not so much since I didn't dig the glaze, but hey, it wasn't for me anyways, right?Lastly, I had a Holland cream filled donut. It was enjoyable, but not memorable.The service was professional and friendly. Of note, they do pass along a 3% credit card processing fee. The menu board shows cash prices.Overall, Old Soul Donut has a wide selection of very good donuts at reasonable prices. For me, their taste doesn't quite meet the level of top tier shops in Duval (Cheer Donuts, Doughfee, Daily Donuts, and Parlor Doughnuts are my favorites), but if I lived closer, I would still stop by regularly since they are quite delicious.

A trip to the zoo with my toddler son gave me a reason to take a bit of a detour on our way and try Old Soul Donut, and I'm glad we did. Best donuts I've ever had; fresh, light in texture, not overly sweet. I discovered this place while taking my 92 year old parents for a drive, and it made our day. When the owner found out that my folks were in an Assisted Living facility, he filled a box with donuts to bring to the support staff there. When they opened the box, they all literally gasped. I don't think a lot of people bring them surprises like that. This is the kind of local business I will go out of my way to support, please spread the word!!

I took my 92 year old parents on a random drive, and discovered Old Soul. Highlight of our day! An amazing array of donut choices, coffee and espresso drinks, and even breakfast items! The donuts are very fresh, light in texture and not too sweet, delicious. When I mentioned that I was visiting my folks in an Assisted Living facility, the owner filled a box with donuts to bring to the support staff. You should have seen their faces, they literally gasped with delight when they opened the box! This is a local business that deserves our support, please get over there and give it a try!!
