This restaurant is more hipe than it is worth. The receptionist did not have any business being the first person you meet when entering this restaurant, we should have turned around and left right there and then because it did not get any better. Before we entered the section of the restaurant that we were going to, the waitress gave us the lecture as to how many of their “Zombies” drinks we could have which was two and then went on to say that the rest of the drinks were at her discretion when to cut us off. I have to say there were four of us of which the youngest person is age 40 and the oldest was age 65, so we are not young people that need to be briefed on how much we can drink, what a turn off. This was our 2nd chance to leave and we did not, big big mistake. The waitress did not get any better, she took our drink orders and our appetizer orders and she did not help make our visit inviting and joyful. It was as if she did not want to be there. We ordered the “Zombie” drinks and what a disappointment, it would have taken us 4-5 of those drinks to get us drunk and we are not regular hardcore drinkers. We order some other drinks that were suppose to be exotic drinks and still disappointed. Just no flavor. As for the food, well you can get better food at the Panda Express, just mediocre. The atmosphere and the staff just did not help themselves any, the waitress took our main menu request and after a while she came over to check on us and asked if we needed anything and I asked if we would be getting our orders soon and she said what orders, I then repeated what we ordered and mentioned to her that she wrote it down on her paper pad which she quickly checked just to confirm to us that she forgot to put in the order. I must add there was not a huge crowd at this establishment. We also had to ask where our 2nd round of drinks were at, which she found and then quickly blamed the bar tender for not telling her the drinks were ready. Their menu was extremely limited, everything they offered was on one narrow page. Absolutely incredible!!! I do not recommend this restaurant at all!! $175.00 dollars later and we decided to leave. If you plan to spend this much money go to the Green Papaya, I can assure you will get way more than your money’s worth, as their drinks, food and service are phenomenal!!!! And without the “Do not drink too much” lecture. I suggest the owner and his staff all go to the Green Papaya and experience how clients should be treated.

Went in tonight to order takeout. Asked the host if we can go to the bar for drink while we wait for our food. Host informed us not very pleasantly that we could not go to the bar, we needed a reservation weeks in advance...weeks in advance to order one drink while we wait for out takeout? I asked for a menu, he seemed like it was such a bother since he had to go out to the back to grab one. The menu was so limited to about 20 items on the takeout menu. We were so taken back by the entire, short, ignorant experience that we decided it was not worth giving them our business. From reading other reviews, looks like we made a great decision!!

Won’t go back., and definitely don’t recommend. Once inside, you know that the restaurant is failing. Hoped that at least the food would salvage the experience.. Never had Chinese food that I couldn’t eat! Very disappointing. .

First impression walking in here I was confused where I was, then saw many people being seated to a private area with reservations, the host then handed me a small menu with some dim sum items and various fried rice dishes and a few other items he said there was no cook available to make the main dishes so it would have to be this limited menu this was on a Saturday night at dinner time. The restaurant itself is a very unique place and was like going back in time I would recommend to come here for drinks or just to experience the uniqueness at least once it would be a fun place for some cocktails or something. The food here on the other hand is not so great.Ordered Hawaiian fried rice and fried rice showed up in a spam can with spam in it and was not good, they do have spam fried rice on the menu so somebody messed up my order, shrimp har gao(dumplings) had mushy shrimp in it had to spit it out and didn't finish it not to mention the dumplings had no taste just the taste of steamed chlorinated water, ordered some pork buns but quickly canceled it, the salt and pepper shrimp was not bad but still lacking in flavor, it was fresh and that was a plus.My server was great and food came out quickly, I guess they are having problems with having a full time cook if they would make improvements to the food this would be a cool place to visit.

Didn’t realize the restaurant has a limited menu, no meals. Went for dinner. Private bar in the back was booked. No customers in the restaurant. Here’s a thought: dim the lights and make the whole place the hidden tiki temple, reservations only.

We enjoyed our night out at Tiki Temple. We ordered a few appetizers and the House fried rice. Very good! Loved how it's decorated!! Everyone that worked there was really nice. This place would be a great time for anyone including kids. Looking forward to our next visit!!

First of all, the service is ok. Second, the chef put too much starch in everything to make the dish look more than it is. If the chef put more meat or shrimps in the dish and less starch, it will be better. Too much starch also makes the dish taste weird. Too much starch is not good for people’s health either. Some food is not fresh at all such as some seafood. I know fried rice should use over night rice but not over nights. I suggest the restaurant to use fresher rice to cook fried rice. Do not try to fool your clients. To be honest, the taste is not a big difference from other Chinese take out restaurants. Finally, the atmosphere in the restaurant is too dark. Do you think it makes more Chinese style? Red and green lights make me feel like I was in a stripper club. There is also some weird smells which comes from old furniture. I started worrying about the cleaness of the restaurant. Hopefully, the owner could make some changes in the restaurant. It is a 48 years old business. Nothing wrong to make more profits but it will be a shame if the business owner doesn’t want to improve the quality.

I had an outstanding dining experience at Secret Tiki Temple and Pagoda Chinese restaurant. Blake's exceptional service as a host was the perfect start to the evening. The tiki bar, managed by Amy and Greg, was absolutely amazing, and getting to sit down and chat with Tommy, the Ops manager, was a truly memorable experience. Now, let's talk about the food. The pork lumpia were a delicious appetizer that left me craving for more. And the General Tso chicken was an absolute standout - among the best I've ever had in my life. The flavors were exquisite, and the chicken was cooked to perfection. But the drinks, oh my! It's clear they have limits on some for a reason - they're incredibly potent and flavorful, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the meal.In summary, Secret Tiki Temple and Pagoda Chinese restaurant exceeded all expectations, offering not only exceptional service but also a culinary journey that I won't soon forget. If you're looking for a fantastic dining experience, this place is a must-visit.SincerelyEpoxy Russ

I didn't eat here but the staff is amazing. We visited the secret tiki temple. The host was amazing and got us seats. The food and drinks inside of the tiki temple were out of this world absolutely to die for.

I definitely would not recommend going over to the restaurant side if this establishment. I went in to grab a bite and finish up some work. The waitress Peggy was nice at first. But then her service started going downhill. First she walked behind me to look over my shoulder and asked me was I working as she looked directly on the screen of my laptop, mind you I was sitting in a booth. Secondly when she handle me my check it was not mine; it was a bill for $119.XX (not sure if she thought I wasn’t paying attention and I was just going to pay it but I caught it). Thirdly while I was packing up my food she was hovering over my food and started talking and then coughed over my food. She apologized but hurried away to the back and never came back out. I had to throw my food away. The gentleman at the front desk is absolutely amazing. I will go back (but not to the restaurant side) simply because of him.

After 1 1/2 hours, we still hadn't received our 2nd plate of food for a table of 2 on the regular restaurant side. I had to complain to the hostess, who had the kitchen prepare our last plate. I ate my entire meal, while my companion sat there with nothing to eat. What a miserable experience! They didn't even comp the last plate. $15 plate, cost should be $4.50. That showed me that they don't care about maintaining customer satisfaction. I told the host and hostess, shame on them! As a repeat customer, I paid the $100 tab, tipped only $10, normally tip $30, and I won't ever go back. That's what the $4.50 cost this restaurant! Again, shame on you!! So disappointing! After posting, I decided to edit my review. We love this place! The food is always awesome, and I really enjoy our server Peggy. We got our 2nd plate togo, and it was as good as always! We'll be back, I just feel like you really missed the mark tonight! Hopefully, our next visit will be better.

The food was nothing special and I would not choose to go again. The service was slow and the waitress brought out one dish at a time so I had to decide to eat mine while it was hot or wait for others at my table to receive theirs..which took about another 15 min. The atmosphere is 70's tiki tacky and the lighting does NOT help the food look appealing at all.

The food at Pagoda was incredible. The place looks kitschy and like it's stuck in an 80s Chinese restaurant, but it made it all the better. Service was a bit slow, but there were quite a few people on a random weekday lunch day. I loved it and am looking forward to my next visit.
