We love Pinegrove! Swing by this restaurant and butcher if you're in the mood for beef! Great burgers. The Hoss is the one to order. Their lamb burger is also excellent if you're looking for something different. I haven't tried the patty melt yet, but a lot of people rave about that as well. Onion rings are incredible, definitely the best side I have had here. The fries are good too, but nowhere near as special as their onion rings. Baked potato is cooked right, but it needs salt. Caesar salad is excellent - I highly recommend it. Also recommend splitting the Caesar with someone else if you get it, because it's huge. One thing I appreciate about this place is that they cook everything perfectly. The temperatures are just right and the beef is perfectly rested. They know how to cook! That being said, while they cook their steak perfectly, I do not think I would get it again because the flavors aren't to my preference. I found it to be too heavy on Worcestershire and oregano for my taste. I would prefer if they cooked the steaks more simply, and let the marbling flavor of the beef shine more. Steve-O is the best!

We went for Valentine's Day tonight. It was the first time I have been. It definitely will not be the last. The staff was very kind, courteous, and so very patient while we decided what we wanted to order. It is Half price of what we would've paid at Ruth Chris. Even the sides were delicious. I highly recommend this place. Such good food and such friendly staff. A very laid back welcoming atmosphere. I loved it.

A friend brought me here for lunch and it gave such sweet "small town" deli vibes! I got the Greek burger and onion rings, and everything was delicious. Their homemade tabouli was especially good. My friend got their Italian sandwich and it was very generously sized and said to be great as well!

Really looking forward to going here for lunch last Saturday.Ordered a Cuban with potato salad that didn't have any taste at all and the Cuban was toasted but limp with also very little flavor. Not much better for my wife's Chicken Salad. No taste at all and additional salt didn't help much. Very disappointed.

This is a great place. It’s a butcher with beautiful meats, and a great menu . You can sit inside and have a “Camel Rider”!It’s a Jacksonville thing! Actually they have lots of great stuff on menu along with lunch specials .

Visited this place today and ordered two sandwiches along with fries..Another customer came in immediately after I did and ordered the exact same sandwich that I ordered. I waited for over 45 minutes for my food. I had to cancel the order because my order was never received..After I canceled my order, all of a sudden, the staff was indicating that my order was ready.. I visit this place frequently and have purchased meats from the butcher counter as well as the deli..After this experience, I highly recommend finding another sandwich shop that has better customer service.. This one is not it

Wow! Ordered a filet for me and a burger for my husband. He took one bite, paused then said “now that’s a good burger” and he is picky about his beef! The steak was the best I’ve had in years and the sides were just as awesome. Portions are very generous - we could only eat half but believe me nothing will be wasted. We’ll return for certain and I can’t wait to check out the meat market side.
