We were all hyped up, had our three granddaughters and went down there and they're having a special event and was closed to the general public if they are going to do this type of thing they need to advertise it on their site, so we know when to go. We are not sure we will go back.

Last night was my first time eating at pizza cave, and immediately upon walking in, I was transported into a cozy, quaint little restaurant. The atmosphere was phenomenal, I felt like I could hang out for hours! We were immediately greeted by Kat with a very welcoming smile and presence.Kat brought us our food fast and checked up on us multiple times, making sure our food was satisfactory and always asked if we needed anything. Thank you so much for being our waitress, Kat! I will definitely be coming back and bringing all of my friends here ^-^ also the pepperoni pizza was sooo good, and if you've never tried swamp fries, you really need to!!

Absolutely devastated to know that pizza cave will no longer be open to the public. The food and the vibes were always great. This was my go to cheap bite out, I took every *questionable* first date here to make sure they weren't completely lame. Major shout-out to my girl cat for always being super friendly and welcoming. Wishing the whole crew nothing but the absolute best ✨Advice to the owners : if you lacked customers it is truly a problem on your end. Despite being one of the only THEMED restaurants in all of Jacksonville you never once appeared on any local food pages. Not Jax eats, Cre8jax, 904 happy hour, IG Jax, nothing. Did it never occur to you that people would love Pizza Cave if you put it out there? YOU the owners needed to push yourself to promote. This is the perfect " dinner and a movie" date spot. Or it was at least. How the heck did y'all close before biggies disgusting pizza? With all the love in the world, please do better and be good to your employees.

I love the Pizza Cave!!!!! This is by far the coolest themed restaurant in Jax and I always feel comfortable and welcome here among people of all lifestyles. The pizza slices are always HUGE and they offer unique flavor combos! The milkshakes are thick and creamy and I'll miss this being open on the regular! Cat is such a sweetie and she's the best at making your milkshakes!!!Kid-friendliness: Perfect for kids pizza parties!!!

Came in a little after 8 and ordered pizza. We were almost done eating, but exactly at 9 we were ask to leave due to closing . Every where I have been they let you order and serve you the restaurant will let you finish. We literally needed another 5 to 10 mins. The pizza was good , but very scarce on the toppings. No wonder their closing in a week per the employee.

Quick bite but wasn't as good as reviews had said as it was high reviews of like 4.7, which is why we went, but food was meh . Service was awesome, though, and the atmosphere was unique and cool.

Over $4 for a pepperoni slice that had exactly three small slices of pepperoni.

Best pizza we've had in years. The owner explained how they make their own dough and it needs to rest 2 to 3 days. This is a very casual restaurant, so enjoy the cave atmosphere. You order at the counter and they bring the food over. It's very good!

I went from absolutely loving Pizza Cave to never wanting to go there again. I've been there between 10 and 15 times, and at least 75% of the time, there are problems. They either forget the toppings, take an unbelievably long time, or mess up the order. The other day, I ordered my favorite pizza, and they said it would be between 15 and 20 minutes. When I arrived 40 minutes later, the pizza wasn't done. They told me it was still in the oven and would be another five minutes. Fifteen minutes later, it still wasn't ready! Finally, they brought out my pizza, and the guy gave me a full refund, apologizing for the delay. However, when I got home and started eating with my wife, she noticed real cheese on it. We are both vegan! I called the guy who gave us the pizza, and he said he wasn't sure if it was real cheese. My initial reaction was, how is he not sure? Shouldn't he have said it's impossible due to our procedures? Instead, he wasn't sure. I sent a picture to the manager, who confirmed it was real cheese. After seven years of being vegan, this is the first time something like this happened, and I feel disgusted. I write this as a warning to never go to Pizza Cave. Despite their great vegan pizza, the management needs immediate change. Ironically, I had recently offered to help promote their pizzas to the vegan community, but the manager was nonchalant. If the owner is reading this, the place needs new management. I hate to do this, but I have no choice but to post this review everywhere to warn other vegans to stay away from Pizza Cave.

Absolutely the best vegan pizza in Jacksonville! I suggest the Black Lagoon pie! There's a cool movie theater attached to this place too - you could get pizza and a movie!
