I have eaten in the San Juan location and this location is just as good. Food is excellent. The pork chops were just right and the lima beans came out hot and tasty. Service is friendly and fast. Give the locals a try. You won't be disappointed!

I’ve been here a couple times and every time has been great. I came in one time after riding my motorcycle in the rain and they took care of me. I came yesterday and BJ(I believe that’s his name) the young man told me he’s the one that made my plate. Well he can keep making them it was great. Taste just like home. I love it there. I will continue coming and bring all my RuffRyders with me

If you wanna turn back time to when your Grandma was in the kitchen, then you better come to Shut 'Em Down! The best fried chicken in J-ville.ZERO grease found on the chicken and the meat is juicy and tender. The collard greens were so tasty and the Mac n cheese was delicious! The cornbread melts in your mouth. Thank you for a wonderful meal. We will be back soon.

I took some time to think on this one to be sure I was fair in my writing. Those who worked there gave excellent service. However...4 small oxtail bones, in my opinion, was not worth the price of almost $19. All else was good. Kudos also for being open on 12/31/23.
