This is my absolute favorite restaurant! I've been coming here for over 20 years. It's a nice cozy place, and family operated. When you walk in, you feel like you're being welcomed home. The curry is out of this world! Other, more "corporatey" restaurants just don't quite hit the spot. When people from out of town ask what one restaurant they should go to in Jacksonville, it's this place.

Arguably one of the most spectacular Thai restaurants I’ve ever eaten in. It started with the freshest spring rolls. I’ve had in a very long time. The cabbage inside was crunchy! Their Thai noodles with hot basil or spectacular. The sticky rice with coconut ice cream was a perfect ending.

Compared to other Thai places around town the food here is just ok. It wouldn't be my first choice. However, the ladies here are really sweet and the service made up for the mediocre food. I had the lunch special and I chose the chicken pad Thai, salad, and I added a cucumber salad. It also came with a spring roll. I was disappointed in both the salads. The regular salad came with a really thin sauce that didn't coat the lettuce and the cucumber salad is just sliced cucumber with peanuts in a sweet chili sauce. It wasn't what I was expecting.

Delicious, and warm and comfortable.I was shopping in the area and poked my head in and stayed. My pad thai was awesome. Turns out that my sister had taken me there years ago and it's her favorite Thai place too.

Decor is pretty old and not modern. The chicken pad thai wasn't as tasty and was on the salty side... pretty bland. Service was good and the waitress is very nice.

I had the chicken pad thai, Thai tea, and coconut soup. They all tasted like they were a day too old to serve. But then for dessert, because of the other posted comments, I ordered the homemade coconut ice cream, and got the fried bananas on top. The presentation was beautiful and it tastes even better! If I go back, it would just be for dessert.

The best Thai food I've ever had, and I've tried it all over the country. Food is always well prepared, fresh, super flavourful, and so delicious. I went here for over fifteen years, while I lived in Jacksonville. Now that I live about 90 miles away, this is one of the places I miss the most. Aurathai, the owner and chef, is so super friendly and sweet and her cooking is truly amazing. Every time I've gone to Taste of Thai over the years, I've always had excellent service and such yummy food! If you're in Jax, definitely check out this amazing little gem!!!
