I had a wonderful experience. Everyone was very friendly and the food was excellent. I especially liked the side options. The Grilled Cinnamon Pineapple was all the dessert you need. I highly recommend it.

I really wanted to give 5 stars because the food is always amazing, the servers are incredible, and the managers are really on-top of everything.Unfortunately at the very end whoever brought over the credit card reader (I didn't catch her name) was very rude when our card was denied. Our card shouldn't have been rejected but their machines wouldn't let us enter in a PIN code.Other than that we love this restaurant but the final waitress that took payment didn't match all of the other service.We spent $370+ tip on our bill so we definitely expected the waitress to be more pleasant as we were leaving.

Not too sure what all the hype is about this place. Just not our thing I guess. Extremely overcrowded and loud, our server was inattentive, and the food wasn't even that good... I'd rather pay that much for a sit down dinner with a steak and potatoes with creamed spinach or something that actually tastes good. Coming here just for the "experience' is by far not worth it. There are too many other restaurant options that are less expensive with way better food to ever come back here. Not trying to sound super negative but I'm just sharing an honest experience.

Do NOT... I repeat.. DO NOT skip out on Terra Gaucha to go to a different Brazilian steakhouse. I've been to the others and Terra Gaucha is by far the best Brazilian steakhouse in Jacksonville. Also, the cleanest Brazilian steakhouse in Jacksonville.I've been here several times and didn't realize I hadn't written a review, yet. They haven't dropped the ball on my experience once. It's always 5 stars.The customer service makes you feel like you're at a much more expensive restaurant. The food is always delicious and abundant. If you want something, they will make sure you get it.Come hungry. Try everything. It's all delicious. Save room for creme brulee.Make sure you eat your steak with the chimichurri sauce (I think the garlic pichana is the best one). The hot and cold bar always has an authentic Parmigiano Reggiano cheese wheel which is so impressive. Charcuterie options are always amazing at the hot and cold bar.

I’ve now been to two of Jax’s Brazilian Steakhouses (twice to Terra Gaucha and once to Fogo out at Town Center) and I can say with absolute certainty I prefer Terra Gaucha. Not only is the food phenomenal (as one might expect) and the drinks sublime (I recommend a caipiroska, personally), but the service is absolutely top notch. Watching the various servers and waitstaff moving around the dining space is like watching a choreographed beehive; no one stands idle, and no one is above helping with the little tasks (clearing tables, topping off water, replacing plates). I couldn’t possibly capture each of the names of the people who helped make it a fantastic night even on my best day, but two stand out: Jessica (our server) had the absolute best disposition, and Iskender (a manager) was so attentive to everything it seemed he knew we were looking for something even before we did. I specifically chose Terra Gaucha for a personal celebration because they make the best caipiroskas in town, but I am heartened and incredibly grateful to have received the best service I would never think to ask for. Everyone was so helpful and accommodating (that allergen list is a beauty!), and so completely pleasant to interact with, that Terra Gaucha will come first to mind for all future celebrations!Dietary restrictions: If you ask they will provide a thorough list of all items with major dietary and allergen concerns (dairy, shellfish, fin fish, seeds, soy, garlic, onion, and nuts are what I recall offhand, though I remember others listed) that they’ll leave at your table so you can refer to it as needed. This includes both the rodizio items circulating in the dining room, the salad bar, and the dessert options.

The setup is a little more casual than other Brazilian steak houses I've been to. Maybe due to location and a more touristy crowd. They do have a separate event room which was being decorated for a wedding dinnerThe food was very good and so was the salad bar. There were lots of veggie salads and other vegetables. The lamb chop and leg of lamb were among the best I've ever tasted. Reasonably priced and the cost of children is prorated. You must make a reservation.Vegetarian options: Plenty to choose from on the salad bar.

My husband and I spontaneously decided to stop in for dinner while out shopping with our two children (ages 1&3) and we had one of the best meals we’ve ever had. It was our first time so we didn’t know what to expect but the staff went above and beyond to explain how everything worked and what kinds of food they had to offer. The staff was amazing from beginning to end and while next time we will probably leave the kids at home so we can be a little less side tracked, the staff was so accommodating and made them feel extremely welcome. Everything we tried was amazing and we will definitely be back! 10/10 experience, food and service.

Listen. I had never been to a Brazilian steakhouse and chose this place because it looked easier to be "new to this and anxious" here. All of the staff was really friendly and helpful, they explained how it worked and it was a fun experience. The food was also so, so great. They have a buffet style setup with a lot of side and salad options, I liked everything I tried. Everything felt high quality, including the meats, of course. I think it was like $60 a person and that absolutely felt worth it.
