You can’t go wrong on any meat on the menu. A low key place, nothing fancy but good food. The BBQ sauce was a unique and a bit different in taste, rather salty in a good way. Shouldn’t miss this BBQ place in Jax.
I use to eat there in years past. Then I realized that they boil the ribs then put them on the grill. It gives the meat a totally different flavor. I personally like my meat grilled through and through. Maybe I'll try them again to see if they've started cooking those ribs on the grill.

This place is AMAZING. Hubby and I are recovering Californians and used to California sized servings so we came here and got the family meal. Boy were we shocked! The service was incredibly nice. The ladies upfront were very kind.The restaurant is dirty, and there are many fruit flies everywhere. The tables were sticky. The ribs were greasy. As a unit we ordered ribs, chicken, pulled pork and chicken tenders. The chicken tenders were so hard that you could have beat a nail into the wall with them. The barbecue sauces on the table, mainly the sweet sauce tasted like it was about to turn. The food was not good. We threw most of it away.This place needs a good scrub.
