The first seafood market I visited almost 10 years ago when I came to see family. 7 years ago I moved here and was this first place we stopped off the train. Definitely the freshest seafood in Jacksonville, FL. The staff is most undoubtedly as close knit as family and will prepare your fresh fish however you ask for you to cook at home!
I’ve been buying 100-200 pounds of bait shrimp here for our marina past 21 years. Always buy my seafood from here. Bruce and family and employees are the best. Smoked mullet is legit, prices are fair, and everything is fresh. My 22-yr old son still has the wooden shrimp boat model Bruce gave to him when he was 8-yrs old. Thank you all at Trout River Fish Co. for providing fresh seafood to Jax families for generations
