We had a very young, inexperienced waitress. She took my order and left the table and had to have someone call out the order to the cook. She then came back and took my husbands order. When she brought our coffee cups to the table, she held them up near the rim. She then brought my meal out and about 6 minutes before bringing my husband's meal out.Also, there was a broom and a pile of trash and empty coffee creamer containers in the middle of the floor near our seats that was left there the entire time we were in the restaurant. Also, my husband asked to see the extended menu that had additional choice on it, and he was told the Corporate office didn't allow them to have an extended menu. My husband told them all the other Waffle House Restaurants he goes to has and will bring the extended menu to the table. He ordered the T-Bone Steak from the menu they said they didn't have. He also ordered a salad. The guy at the counter said Waffle House hasn't had salads since 2019. My husband gets a salad every time he goes to any other Waffle House when he gets the steak.We had not been to the Waffle House on San Jose Blvd in Jacksonville, Florida, in about 6 years and will not be going back there again.

Great staff.....at least the 11:00 am shift is....... I prefer my Waffle to be light and they did it perfectly and my Texas toast bacon egg and cheese was great.Parking: I can see how this parking lot may get a little packed but the times that I go I have no problem.Kid-friendliness: They have anything for any age kid if they can't find something they like there then something's wrong with that kidWheelchair accessibility: They have wheelchair parking and low counters for wheelchairs as well as space at the end of tables
