Apathetic hostess, slow service, inattentive wait staff, mediocre food. Appetizer came out after entrees. Waitress left us sitting at the table for a looooong time before taking our order. When it was time to pay the bill waitress took card but didn’t show the total of the bill. Then their Toast table-side payment machines are configured to default to 20%-25% tips which is ludicrous considering the below mediocre service. 15% should be the base level for wait staff tipping. Also they don’t provide menus, who wants to scan a QR code? So annoying I’m here in person give me a real menu.

Weirdly there was a 15 minute wait, 30 minutes after they opened, with numerous empty tables. The food was good though. Worth the wait.

Absolutely love this place! The food is incredible, and have a great variety of drink on the menu. I highly recommend the wicked burger and flights of cider or beer for food/drink. Atmosphere is also a lot of fun with live music, beer garden outside and dock ramp for the view. Definitely worth checking out!

Difficult to find parking. Love the service and atmosphere but the past three times we have tried to bring guests (including last evening) we could not find a parking space and ended up at other restaurants.Parking: Parking lot at restaurant site is free. Trucks and SUVs often park under the trees in the landscaping island. The traffic lane is one way in front of the doors but the directional arrows painted on the pavement have faded so it’s unclear which way to go. Some people park across the road at other businesses. Might be worth it for the owners to invest in free to the customers valet parking like other restaurants with limited parking.

My recent visit to Wicked Barley for their Easter event left a bitter taste in my mouth, not from the beer, but from the discriminatory practices my family and I witnessed.Although the brewery itself boasts a beautiful ambiance and decent food, the discriminatory treatment we experienced overshadowed any positive aspects of our visit. While the Easter event was not explicitly advertised as a first-come-first-serve egg hunt, it became evident upon arrival that certain families were receiving preferential treatment during the sign-up process. Black families, including mine, were systematically overlooked in favor of white families. This discriminatory behavior was not reflective of the inclusive atmosphere we had experienced in previous years, particularly in 2019.As a result of this discrimination, many children, regardless of their race, were denied the opportunity to participate in the Easter egg hunt they had eagerly anticipated. It's disheartening to see an establishment we once enjoyed become tainted by such exclusionary practices.Despite the disappointing experience with the Easter event, I must acknowledge the brewery's aesthetic appeal and the decent quality of the food, albeit at a steep price. However, these positives are overshadowed by the glaring issue of discrimination. In conclusion, my recent visit to Wicked Barley was marred by the discriminatory treatment we witnessed during the Easter event. I urge the management to address these issues promptly and take steps to ensure that all patrons are treated fairly and equally, regardless of race. Only then can Wicked Barley reclaim its reputation as an inclusive and welcoming establishment.

Last night friends and I hit up Wicked Barley Brewing Company - Jacksonville, FL for dinner. They have a weekend Fish Fry special going on today and an Easter Brunch tomorrow. We started with the Pretzel with Beer Cheese and Honey Mustard appetizer. Pretzel was perfect and the beer cheese had me wanting more. I need to make some at home soon, but theirs was the bomb[dot]com.Hubby got The Fillmore which is 2 4iz smash Patty burgers, an Applewood smoked bacon Patty, cheese, lettuce, pickles, AM sauce on a brioche bun. This thing was monstrous and I wish I got a better angle in the pic of it. Juicy, greasy, and large. Hubby was really happy with it and loved the bacon Patty.I chose the Bratwurst that comes in a Pretzel bun and is topped with Olive My Pickle Sauerkraut. The Bratwurst is a 6oz veal & pork sausage. It also came with their tangy wicked sauce too. I loved my wurst and it had a bit of a smoky apple flavor to it too.Drinks hubby had water and a lemon dream seltzer slushy. He let me have a sip and it was really nice. Think Orange Creamsicle ice cream, but lemon flavored. It was wonderful. I chose their PB&J Sour and also a Creamsicle Bigley Sour. I liked the Creamsicle more than the PB&J, but both were great.Holly, our waitress, was an MVP. We had a party of 10 and we all arrived at staggered ti.es within a 1 hour period. Always had a smile, super friendly, and just on top of everything for us. She was really great. Between the food quality and service, we'll definitely be back!

Wish I could give them more stars! It's becoming a Christmas tradition for my coworkers and I to meet here to exchange gifts and I couldn't be happier. It's perfection in a boxKid-friendliness: SUPER kid friendly. Honestly the most kid friendly brewery in Jacksonville.
