I ordered takeout from here and while the staff was pleasant and the atmosphere was nice, unfortunately there was a slug in my kids chicken dish sitting on top of the stir fry, and the rice was not fresh in the sushi rolls. The slug sadly made it unable for us to continue enjoying the food.

First time and we will be back. Had habachi, lo mein, sushi, wine and saki. Everything was so fresh and delicious. The server was quick and attentive. Very impressed with the quality of food. Overall 10/10. Pricing was way less than other places with half the quality

We finally tried this place after years of people saying the sushi is pretty good, and we were not disappointed! We placed a to-go order that included Krab Rangoon, Veggie Tempura, Crazy Roll, Chef's Roll, Fantastic Spicy Tuna Roll, Superman Roll, Chicken Teriyaki Marki Roll, and Miyazaki Roll. All of the items are in the attached photos (minus the krab rangoons and most of the veggie tempura since it was already eaten).The Miyazaki Roll was probably my favorite. It's deep fried and includes smoked salmon, krab, cream cheese, and eel sauce. My second favorite was the Chef's Roll. It includes shrimp katsu, avocado, and cream cheese wrapped in cucumber with a homemade sauce.We usually frequent some of the all you can eat sushi spots around town, but the quality of the sushi here was so much better in my opinion and worth the extra cost. I normally find myself drowning everything in shrimp sauce at the AYCE places, but this sushi was so good that I barely used any.We will be back, and we will probably try dining in next time!

i generally enjoy coming to yashi sushi. their lunch specials are okay. but this time when i went, the clear soup tasted like dish water. i literally wanted to throw up after taking a sip. and they gave me fake soy sauce! im posting a picture of the package because its so unbelievable. i will never return.

I rarely leave reviews, let alone bad ones. However, I feel it's important to do so here. I have eaten at Yashi Sushi several times while visiting Jax when staying at a nearby hotel. Previous times have been great, but my recent visit on Sept 2023 left me physically ill. On this visit I sat at the sushi bar and ordered a sushi platter. The food came very quick and looked great. However, I noticed immediately that the fish was too warm. I shouldn't have eaten it, but against my better judgment I did and was sick several times afterwards. After my meal I noticed the sushi chiller on the sushi bar directly in front of my seat has visible mold growing on the outside of the glass and on the plastic sheeting it was sitting on top of. One of the chefs in the kitchen kept sneezing and I never heard a sink run afterwards. This place needs a serious cleaning top to bottom and maybe a visit from the health department.
