I would highly recommend coming here. We were celebrating our 2nd engagement anniversary. We got engaged when it was Pietro's and wanted to keep the tradition going for celebrating our anniversary at the same restaurant however; The Nest was even better!!! We had Mary as our server, she is outstanding!!!! The food was delicious! Narby was our server last year and he remembered us. How cool is that. Definitely check this place out.

My wife and I belong to the Country Club associated with this restaurant. The Country Club is private the restaurant is open to the public. My one suggestion (actually 2) is no one would ever guess that from their sign it is a restaurant. It simply says The Nest! Nothing is visible as you drive by except the sign that says the Nest. If I think of my nest I think of it as a home! No way you would guess it is a restaurant. They really need to add to the sign saying it is a restaurant! Second suggestion, is that many of the clients that eat at the Nest are elderly...(hey it is Florida) when you look at the Appetizers nothing looks familiar. Why not add a couple of old standbys...like Shrimp Cocktail etc.

Very disappointed with the food. The two things I ordered escargot and brie chicken. was like eating cafeteria food. Extremely disappointed in others that are table felt the same way. Especially at that price point it should be spectacular and it was far from that..

Happy hour new fav! Wonderful seared tuna in blueberry glaze and crab cakes on fried green tomato. Gotta come back for dinner! Excellent wait staff!

This was our second visit since the Nest opened. Our first experience was definitely better! We sat at the bar with friends and as always the bar staff was friendly and excellent. That said The escargot was soupy and lacked flavor, very disappointing. My pork chop was slightly overcooked and the sauce a little to tangy for my taste, however the sweet potato mash was very good. My husband had the special scrod and said it was very good. Our friends had duck and pasta respectively. They didn’t have lamb or scallops that was disappointing . We think the bar area lacks warmth and we definitely miss the bar menu! We look forward to some changes to keep the local folks coming back.

First of all the service was excellent!!Four women for lunch. One ordered fish & chips and said it was excellent. 3 of us ordered the Chicken Milanese based on our memory when Chef David served this at his own restaurant Chris D’Anna. It was always fabulous. I had to leave off the greens on mine due to allergy but requested extra tomato’s which I did receive. We were all disappointed with the entree. The chicken was dry and not pounded thin as usual with this dish. The tomato’s were tasteless and not even close to ripe. We ate some and decided to take the rest home and try to do something with it to make it taste better. Our server asked us how everything was & of course we told her about the chicken. She just replied please tell the owner. This is the one disappointing thing she did. She should have gone back and told the chef! Especially after seeing we were charged 3% kitchen fee!! A tip for the chef and kitchen workers! Our saving grace is that they make the most delicious Coconut Cream Cake I have ever tasted.

Restaurant too crowded and the noise level was off the chart. The bar needs plexi glass to separate it from the fine dining area. Food was excellent. Service was too slow. It took an hour for the waiter to take our order.

Edit: They ran off one of the best things to happen to this place, Christine. I really will not come back now. Changed from 4 to 2 stars!!!!…..Came here for my Birthday, first had drinks at one of the hightops in the bar. Somewhat lackluster service. Had to get up and get our own waters from the bar because the server took forever while we were eating our apps. Loved the sliders and crab cakes. Chef David and his crew are great! We ate at Chris D’Annas all the time so wanted to support their transition. Christine does an amazing job to make sure everyone is happy! For dinner, we were all satisfied with our meals, potatoes and sweet potato sides could have been a bit warmer but were still delicious. Good service, and Christine checked in on us again! Beautiful view but super loud when crowded, could hardly hear my guests at the table. If David and Christine weren’t there, don’t know if I’d go back.

The Nest is the best! Delicious food and delightful wait staff. Salmon was scrumptious and key lime pie is the best in the area. Shout out to Jessie Lee for her attentiveness and professionalism. Atmosphere a 4 of 5 stars because it’s a touch loud. We will be back!

We had a wonderful afternoon and evening with friends at the bar for happy hour. Nicole and Natasha took great care of us.The food was all great including: the tuna, the crab topped oysters, the crab cakes nested on fried green tomato and the a bit later the chicken wings.Great happy hour prices! Just sorry we had a cloudy sunset but would recommend for the view, service and food.

Was pleasant surprised at the new menu, service, and quality of the food. Very enjoyable spot for dinner. They are new and are working some of the minor kinks out but nothing serious. I recommend

We were regulars at Pietro's. We were excited to try The Nest and it did not disappoint. The food was great and we really like the modern updates in the decor. We had our same waiter Norbi from Pietro's and as usual he was great.
