I eat at the magic oyster 2-3 times a week and, my friends ordered me the first tacos tonight and the best thing was the green beans and they were perfect but the tacos you could have put a little effort into them, after eating on, no flavor, no bling I took it opon myself to add lettuce, tomato, a little onion and, a little seasoning but I love you all but you could have put a little effort into the taco, MAYBE SOME ADVACADO, SOME SALSA , SOUR CREAM, CHEESE, YOU MISSED OUT BIG TIME ON THIS DISH TONIGHT........ WILLLIAM A RESIDENT IF THE AREA FOR 35 YEARS ......OH YES THEIR WAS A FEW FISH BONES IN THE FISH TOO..... NOT A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE

Excellent overall! Three in our party- we ordered crab cakes, grouper and shrimp for appetizers. For the grouper and shrimp, both breaded, the breading was crisp and tasty. The sauces were excellent, not overpowering and complimented rather than detracted from the base offering. For the main dish, the bourbon salmon was served beyond just warm but not overdone. The bourbon glacé was the consistency of chocolate syrup, thick enough to stay on the fish without running off but not gluey or gummy. It was excellent. The fried shrimp batter was just peppery enough to add depth to what is often a relatively bland dish and the shrimp was cooked, but not overcooked so it was tender and moist. Finally, we had Parmesan crusted cod, pan seared. The fish was lightly breaded such that the Parmesan came through and the coating was crisp but not burnt. As with the other dishes, the fish was flavorful, moist and not overdone. Our server was attentive without being overbearing and kept the meal moving but not rushed. We never felt ignored or hurried. Perfect pace to enjoy a meal. We travelled about an hour to go to the Magic Oyster and I'd do it again.

Great place to have dinner. Lots of fresh seafood on the menu. Bar area is nice and plenty of dining seating available. If you are looking for a great local restaurant featuring seafood, then this is a great place to visit. Owned by a local that has operated here for decades.

First time here for all 5 of us and it was an appetizer kind of night. Take what you want, lots of fun. Various appetizers filled the table. Served by multiple employees, all the food arrived quickly, and was piping hot. The food and wait staff were fantastic! Thank you for a nice evening. Next time we’ll actually order an entree if we can get past the appetizers!
