Okay people - sit up and pay attention. Yes the breakfast food here is delicious. But that's not the only reason to stop in. It's for the people. Both your fellow customers and the STAFF! This place is brimming with positive energy. Sit at the counter with the cool kids. You want local ambiance - then head to The Nook! Just go.

A nice hole in the wall type of place. The reviews speak for themselves. The place is amazing. Really really fast service and food. The food is fantastic. Great value for what you get. Wait time can be a little, but they get through people. It is a small place, and the parking lot is interesting. Usually not a problem though. Will be back!

Had brunch there for the 1st time today & really enjoyed it. The place is very small with limited parking options & it's easy to miss. Thad being said, the place was clean & well maintained. The food was hot, fresh, & delicious. The people there are all very friendly & the service was great. The prices were a bit steep, but not as crazy as many places have gone with inflation. I recommend Center Street Nook for a great breakfast or lunch.

Great little eclectic place. Server was super friendly. Recommend we try a piece of coconut French toast as an appetizer. Never had a breakfast appetizer before. We took her up on it and followed her suggestion of putting a little orange marmalade on it. OMG sooo good!Vegetarian options: Breakfast always has vegetarian optionsKid-friendliness: Very casual atmosphere

Went to Nook for lunch today (3/11/24). When the waitress brought the food over, she said "looks good". Meanwhile, the onion rings were burnt to a crisp and barely edible. When I went to pay and give them one of their BOGO coupons, they said they couldn't accept it because I didn't present it at the time I ordered (it states that in the fine print on the coupon). When I said "isn't there something you can do", the reply was "no, that's our policy, there's nothing we can do about it". When I asked to speak with a manager, I was told one wasn't available. I guess they don't care if they lose a customer. Needless to say, we won't be going back!

I was skeptical after seeing other reviewers pics because it didn't look "gourmet". Ug so glad I took the reviewers' word. We went back the next morning before leaving town because it was so good. If you've never had a grilled biscuit, try it. I'm born and raised in the south, never heard of grilling a biscuit, and this thing had my mouth watering. Beyond the great food, the staff were even better. Patient, willing to offer a recommendation, and asked all the right questions. They even recognized us the next day.

The service is excellent & food is very good. The Nook is a local spot with a lot a paraphernalia on the walls that gives it a homey feel. It is only open for breakfast and lunch.

I found Center Street Nook, AKA "The Nook", looking for a good breakfast place this morning. I decided to get there right around opening time. I arrived at the location and it's a nice, small place with limited parking, a few tables, and a bar to eat. I sat at the bar. My server was very friendly and prompt. I think this is a locals place because she was familiar with just about everyone that was coming in. The menu is extensive with alot of not your usual options. I decided to get the Crab Benedict with home fries. It didn't take long for the food to come out and it looked delicious. The lump crab was grilled in butter mixed with Old Bay seasoning. The home fries were fried potato cut in nice sized chunks. Overall, the food was very good! I am thinking about going tomorrow morning and trying the Chili Cheese Omelette. This is a nice place to try with alot of different options.

Ate at this diner while passing through town, and it was such a great discovery! We ordered "the pile" and a breakfast burrito. Service was great, everyone was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was fun and lively.
