The food , maybe just mine wasn’t that good, i had the cajun pasta , my partner had the salmon and they said it was great, i had heard the pasta was awesome so i was expecting it to be up to that recommendation but it wasn’t. “Arrived in between lunch and dinner, surprised at number of patrons but not crowded. Quick friendly reception and service. Indoor and outdoor dining, by 4pm almost all exterior ( but shaded with a gentle breeze) we're taken. Plenty of table space inside.Extensive menu, amazing plates to share and individual plates as well with a good range of prices and house specials, including lunch and happy hour items on food and drinks.A shrimp basket with fries on appetizer list was amazing with a mango mojito.“

“We're back in business baby! After a brief hiatus for reasons in my last review, my boyfriend and I decided to come by for lunch on Tuesday and I'm happy to say we'll be once again dining there more frequently. As usual, service was friendly and attentive and the ambiance was great to catch up on whatever sporting events were happening on tv but what changed the game this go-around was their new $5 Fat Tuesday special and large portion sizes. The $5 Fat Tuesday special was originally intended to last for the duration of Mardi Gras but it's been such a hit that they've decided to keep it every Tuesday indefinitely. The menu offers a selection of some of their most popular items (e.g. gumbo, beignets, chicken wings) for only $5 each. Steal! Essentially one could create a 3-course meal for less than $20, which is hard to come by nowadays and even beats the value of some of the entrees on their full menu. My boyfriend had 2 orders of the jumbo wings and they were happy to make it with traditional bbq sauce when he requested if it were possible since most of the signature flavors offered are too spicy for his taste. I tried the mojito lime wings and they were crunchy with a nice light zesty flavor. Everything came out PIPING hot and fresh! I also ordered the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich (another go-to favorite of mine) and the portion size was HUGE. The sandwich size looked the way it did the first time I ever tried Walk-On's. Pro tip: I like to take out one of the chicken breasts cause 1) how does one bite into that massive sandwich and 2) it makes a great lunch for the next day (think another sandwich or added to a salad). Overall, I'm so pleased that we decided to give them another go and we'll definitely be back!“

“I seen all you can eat seafood boil and I was there, This place is wild. Line was out the door and they had you waiting but it was worth it. They had a dj dumping something to dance to while you want for the Seafood heavens open up. The boil was flavored to perfection. Go and get a taste.“

“This place is fantastic!! Real Mexican food according to some Mexican friends.I had the enmoladas. They were delicious. Some friends ate the Don Guillermo and the meat was simply cooked the way they wanted, exquisite!!!The salsa verde for the chips, the different moles are to die for. Their margaritas are great, not watery, you feel the alcoholic content of good tequila and other liquors in them.The waiters are so polite, always ready to explain the menu. José was the one taking care of our table. He answered ALL our questions about mezcal, and had the gesture of gifting us with shots of mezcal with tajín, and an orange wedge. That was out of this world... way better than tequila shots. Try the tajín even with tequila shots, that mix of salt, spices and "pique" is wonderful for your taste buds.I love the white winged pigs that hang from the ceiling!!!“

“I frequent brysons to hang out with friends and grab drinks and I must say we always feel very welcomed here. After a few drinks we usually grab some fries and the wings which are THE BEST thing to grab off their menu. The price point of the drinks and the food is not bank breaking which is a big selling point for a dive bar. Will continue to come here and enjoy the staffs company and conversation.Parking: The bar has its own lot but if you arrive too late it tends to fill up.“

“Your place on 163 st and US 1 is great. Our server EVAN was unbelievable with his serve knowledge of menu and giving suggestions that worked out perfect. We really enjoyed his suggestions which we had for dinner. Our food was brought out so quickly and he watched his tables at all times. Best service we have had in long time. We could tell that the manager BOB was everywhere checking the table to see all was well. We have been going there since it was built. Think it's the greatest now. “This place was fantastic, stopped in for a bite to eat while on vacation and was pleasantly surprised as I despise bars typically. This place was packed but not overly noisy. Our water Larry was a genuine dude, the drinks he suggested were fantastic and the food was great. You gotta try the smothered fries! They have no business being so good. The mahi mahi sandwich was great (fish maybe a lil dry but seasoned great). The wife and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. If I ever catch myself in this part of Miami again I'll have to swing on by to old toms!“

“What to say..the best kept secret from locals! For true Miamians Flanigan’s is an icon, part of the childhood and of the life, so of you love it or you don’t go. I have been at Flanigan’s since 2004, when I moved here for a job assignment, and it has been part of my daily miami life since I have been back in 2015. Straight to the point: I come for the ribs! You can’t go here and don’t have them! My other must try are the wings, the onion , the nachos and the key lime pie. One of the reason why I come back is for the quality of food, the prices, the special they have and the relaxed atmosphere, like being at home. You need to experience it to understand. “I had an excellent experience at corbett's. I absolutely fell in love with her house's special wings. They are made to order and absolutely delicious. I can put them up with the best wings in all of Miami. The bartender Mark was absolutely amazing. He treated me like family and made me feel very welcome. I definitely suggest going there and visiting this restaurant. I currently live in North Beach Miami and make my 40-minute drive down to Coral gables for the wings. Food comes out in a timely fashion and is delicious! The ambiance is nice, it's half high tops half standard seating with tvs to watch sports. “We went for the first time a few weeks back with some friends and we all brought our kids. Another pleasant surprise. Great place to bring your kids. Lots of kids playing in the courtyard having a blast and my kids ran into some teammates from their soccer team, so while the adults ate, drank and conversed, the kids entertained themselves. The ambiance was typical sports bar with deferent football helmets and other sports memorabilia with TVs showing sports. Food is also typical sports bar food. We ordered hot dogs for the kids which they like and I tried a bite and it was great. We also ordered Tacos which are really good as well as the wings. Hot dog came with fries which I took some from my kids shhhh please don't tell. As far as drinks it's mainly beer which I'm really not a beer drinker but they had a large selection. I ordered hard cider which I was happy they had. There was also live music which was entertaining. Service was a bit slow but understandably because the place was packed and I feel like it was one or maybe two people serving so the poor guy was running around trying to keep us all happy. “I’m pretty much a weekly regular at the hole, generally for beers with my my friends…had the wings a couple times (excellent) but last week, I had a Mahi Reuben…it was outstanding. I specifically got the chef’s attention and told him as much….was it a one off? I came back a week later and ordered it again. It certainly did NOT disappoint. There was no shortage of fresh mahi….it was actually hanging out the side of the sandwich! It was hot, spiced perfectly and delicious. Well done boys! “The food here is good. You get alot of white people who stare at you at this bar. You can tell white people feel uncomfortable around blacks but they don't give blacks a hard time. This place was packed with whites and way more blacks came in by the end of our visit maybe because it was happy hour lol because the food and drinks are good. I have worked in food service and I can say for sure our server wasn't thrilled that she had black customers but she warmed up to us towards the end due to a mistake they made. The staff in the back and cooks are black, so this definitely lets me know that white people who work there have their opinions of black people, they simply tolerate black people. You can tell that there is a difference. I am black and its a little uncomfortable to be in a bar like this, but it could be worse, so i wont complain, im just explaining the atmosphere. We tipped the server very nicely and she was thrilled about that. We like to break stereo types. We got the sandwich with the coleslaw. I don't eat cole slaw but I tore this sandwich up! It was so very good. The wings were friggin delicious and had a different kind of sauce, believe it or not the banana dessert is GOOD. I was reluctant to try it, but it was so good. The category 5 drink WILL get you buzzed, i don't care who you are. CAT 5 drink is strong on liquor, not on taste just so you know. I had a category 5 drink and it got me right. I followed that up with a category 2 drink and it was a good day! All in all the feel of the bar is people who are reserved with different races until you show them otherwise and become a regular there. It is what it is. The guy I went with is a regular, he is black but they haven't fully accepted him yet lol. That takes time. The food is good. You should try it.“

Of course, not the college bar prices. I can't speak to what it's normally like as I came Saturday mid day to watch a game and then again yesterday around the same time, but the vibe was really fun!
