We took the short detour to have lunch here. Had to wait about 10 minutes for a free seat. About 30 minutes for the food. However, it was very tasty and a huge portion. The service was friendly. However, I have to deduct a star for the toilets. They are dangerous to the public. In addition to the smell issue, it also looks as if the place hasn't been cleaned for a while. A really fun place on a back road to Largo. Food was fine, nothing too special, but the conch fritters were very good and HUGE. We had lunch and rode out some ferocious storms here. Great crowd, good bar.

If you're going to the Keys, you have to stop here just for the experience. It's exactly what you'd expect from a place along the side of the road named Alabama Jack's. But the food was actually very good. Fun roadside experience. Probably even better later in the day (we were there early lunchtime). Not great service but that's not what you're there for.
