This was an amazing experience! We had an amazing view of the sunset and had the pleasant surprise of the sunset toast!! The food was outstanding, very bold flavors as well as perfectly cooked food. We had a reservation for a party of 9 and we were taken care of extremely well. The hotel itself is beautiful to walk around prior to dinner. Overall it was a pretty amazing experience, great food and great views!

We stayed at this resort and decided to have our final dinner here, as it was the nicer restaurant on the property. The prices are typical for a resort and they add a 20% service fee to every meal. The sad part about this process is if your service is subpar, as ours was, there's no repercussions. And the service was very slow. It took forever to get water service and we finally were done our meals and ordered dessert. After waiting 15 minutes we just canceled it and asked for the check. It wasn't even that crowded.

We enjoyed a lovely anniversary dinner here. We got the bang bang calamari and mahi mahi and whole fish Escovitch. Everything was delicious. It's the pricier of the two restaurants but it was good food and very pretty ambiance

. We had a beautiful table on the terrace to watch the sunset. They offered everyone a complimentary glass of champagne at sunset to toast. The food was delicious. We enjoyed conch fritters as an appetizer which were delicious. We had strip steaks and garlic mashed potatoes and the rum cake with banana. All of these things were delicious. Wait staff and management were all top notch.

Wonderful food and staff. Daniel offered incredible suggestions and service. Lev, who teamed with Daniel, was personable and equally helpful. The restaurant is very pretty with lovely views, and our meal was delicious. While not inexpensive, we certainly thought dinner was fairly priced for the food, service and ambiance.

Our server (Justin) was exceptional. He was very personable and had a wonderful positive demeanor. The sunset view was absolutely incredible and the best we have seen while in the keys. The food was equally wonderful. It is on the more expensive side but we felt the value was good.

Made reservations on OpenTable but when we arrived on time there were no tables available. Also notes provided for the reservation were basically ignored. Basically said screw it and sat at the bar and had a fantastic time with Wayne the bartender. Food was very good as usual as we have eaten here 20+ times since Bakers Caye opened. What's the use of reservations if you aren't going to implement them?

Went to dinner with my girlfriend for an amazing meal and incredible view. By mistake. I signed the bill at the end of the night but I had never left my card. I'm glad the waiter got in touch with me. I wouldn't have wanted to have felt badly about a great experience.

Beautiful setting, watched the sunset and received a complimentary glass of champagne to toast it. We had Justin and he was a phenomenal waiter! Food was great. I had the snapper, delish!

Everything was great until after we placed our order with our server. We didn't receive our app as an app. Our meals were timed out separately and we waited super long for finally all of our (5) meals to arrive to the table so we all could eat together. They comped one of the meals, due to the issue, but by the end of the experience we were just unhappy.

Food was mostly outstanding but the prime rib, ordered medium rare, was way overdone. Other guests were not respectful and had very young kids with then screaming and banging on the table and nobody from the restaurant did anything about it. The auto 20% gratuity is a bit much too.

Lovely and luxurious Valentines Day dinner. Secure, gated entry parking lot. Classic restaurant with gorgeous views overlooking Florida Bay-out to the horizon, in an old growth Gumbo Limbo wooded area. Top notch wait staff- nice to see they all work as a team. Romantic live music. Delicious food at a leisurely pace.

Calusa is one of our favorite date-night venues and it never disappoints. We thoroughly enjoyed our Valentine's Day celebration at Calusa. The cuisine, holiday decorations, music, personal roses, and champagne toast were all amazing. However, for the first time (been dining here for 3 years) we were told we MUST valet park...$15!!!

My expectations for this restaurant did not match the reality. My wife had the snapper; I had the scallops. The snapper was tasteless; the scallops were under cooked. The jerk shrimp appetizer was excellent. The martinis and Pinot Grigio were good. The waiter was excellent. The overpriced meal was mediocre at best. I had made a reservation three days after this date, to beat the crowd. I canceled it.

We ordered the filet mignon, it was so salty we couldn't eat it. Our server was very apologetic and brought us new filets. They were tough and not cooked as we asked. Very disappointed in the food.
