Service was terribly slow. We ordered fried calamari for an appetizer and it was served to us on a greasy plate cooked in old dirty oil. We sent it back, ordered our salads and waited 20 minutes for them still haven’t received our salad or our second round of drinks, and we’re about ready to just pay for the one drink that we’ve got and leave.

Hubby just didn’t like his food. Thought the sauce had a strange flavor (chicken parm). The linguini with meat sauce was good but not as good as the same dish at the Italian food company! They had a steak he liked. But if you’re craving Italian? Dunno. I’d go Italian Food Company. In fact? Going now.

Food was AMAZING!!!!!!! We were seated immediately, our waitress was great! The bread- the salad- the meal were all so good we did not have room for dessert!! We all brought home left overs and we all ate them again the next day because everything was so delicious!! Would absolutely eat there again!! You will not be disappointed here!!!

Very good considering the Italian options in the area aren't great. The parking lot was a little crowded but the interior of the restaurant is nicely accommodating. We had reservations but arrived about 15 minutes early. It seemed like everyone had reservations for the same time, as we were seated at the same time as six other groups. Odd. Food was good. Soup and calamari appetizer were definitely enjoyed. I had the sausage and peppers pasta and it was excellent. I just wished there was some more of it. In fairness, I was very hungry! Seemed like a lot of the patrons were regulars so there was a friendly vibe. Servers were hustling because the place got pretty busy early on. Decent value. Definitely recommend.

We were very disappointed in the Diners Drive-ins and Dives restaurant. Service was OK but the staff dressed unprofessional took a long time to get out food and the pasta was not fresh or even the correct pasta for the dish I ordered.

Hair was in our food. Staff didn't seem sorry at all. They were too occupied with everyone else, they didn't even give a proper apology to our table...

Wednesday wine is 1/2 price with a large choice to choose from. The snapper piccata was delicious, as well as the smoked salmon bruschetta. The complimentary garlic knots were plentiful and so yummy. The decadent dark chocolate cake dessert with ice cream was fantastic! The service was superb and atmosphere comfortable and classic Italian. Bought food for tomorrow so we can relax and have it for lunch because the restaurant does not open until 4:00pm. Absolutely recommend this restaurant!

Everything was very good, from the mussels to ravioli. However, I was surprised that the romaine lettuce in the Ceasar salad was bitter. (chefs have to taste and check produce.)

Great food and relaxed, quaint atmosphere. A nice break from the standard Key Largo seafood fare. You will have leftovers as portions are big!

Really expected more but service was so rushed, everything came out too quickly and tasted pre-made or pre-packaged store bought. Starters, main and dessert completed under an hour - does not allow for leisurely conversation. Courses came out before prior courses were cleared. Harsh off putting alcohol taste in cocktails.

The service was good, however the food was underwhelming. Based on these pictures we were expecting something special. The Margarite pizza was entirely tasteless from the tough dough, bland sauce to the dried basil strips. Every Margarite pizza we have had in New York, Montreal and Toronto sometimes multiple places in each city uses fresh basil leaves one can actually taste. The lasagna was just okay, not great not bad, a layer of noodles on top of a mountain of ricotta cheese. Was expecting layers of short rib mince and noodles with a little ricotta. Balance and ratios were way off. Limited experience with this menu, 'your mileage may vary'.
