If you're driving through the Keys you should definitely take some time and stop for a cafe con leche and a sandwich (or maybe something more?). We visited twice for breakfast, both coming and leaving, and the sandwiches and coffee were just what we needed.It's tucked off to the side of a bait shop so it can be easy to miss, but there are tables set out for eating there if you're having something more substantial. We were out for a bike ride and stopped for lunch . What a great surprise ! The food was super . My husband fell in love with the ox tail and clean the bones. The owners were delightful . The covered eating area with fans was greatly appreciated because of the heat . A definite return stop.

We ate lunch here today and it was delicious!! We ordered 2 of the shredded beef, 1 order of steak, 1 order of fried fish sandwich, and 1 order of the pepper steak. We also ordered extra sides of plantains and black beans. The food was delicious. We don't live in an area with access to too much Cuban food so it was great to find one in Key Largo.
