I have been a faithful customer of the Yellow Bait House for years, until today. Yesterday I bought 4 dozen shrimp and realized the aerator I bought from their store 4 to 6 fishing trips before was dead. I replaced the batteries when I got home and found it wasn't dead batteries, it was a dead aerator that looked like new inside and out. I went fishing with dead shrimp with little luck. Today I went back to the store, explained the situation and asked for a replacement aerator. They told me to go buy a new one. He told me they were cheep and don't last, yet they sell them for $25.Captain Pete is a longer drive but I will be giving him my business in the future.

Cheapest place we found to buy live bait but the employee was rude as hell. If you don't like your job then find another one. It's insane to me that someone would ask a question and you'd act completely bothered we even exist. Just go up the road to the other bait store.

Disgusting and rude staff. Not organized. Very displeased with experience of having a customer service representative talk to me in a nasty way after asking a quick question on bait availability. Do better!

We stop in here every time we're in the keys to get our bait before we head out to go catch our big fish of they also got great souvenirs and things to purchase who would have known love this place.
Bald guy has some daddy issues. Been going here for years now and always had friendly staff until this trip. Been there twice and that guy has a serious attitude problem

Service is so good I bought a rod in there in it works so well and the frozen Shrimp is awesome they have all you need!

If you are not from the area looking for fishing information, this is not the place to go. Not the usual helpful staff vibe in a fish and tackle. The guy was a jerk.

This place is a must stop if you are on your way to do some fishing off the many bridges in Key West. The staff is friendly and always willing to share fishing info.
