We were looking to have a dinner at a waterfront restaurant. There are about six restaurants in this area of key west. This restaurant is really nice, not loud at all. It's mostly seafood as we really wanted to eat some seafood dishes. The food was good, reasonably priced, the service was excellent. We had three appetizers and fried seafood plate, all of which were good.

Seemed understaffed, okay service. Awful food.. fish tasted bland & veggies tasted like they were overcooked from a frozen vegetable medley bag. For being $30+ a plate, it felt like a rip off. I asked for a side of steamed asparagus & they brought out boiled asparagus. View is great- it's prime real estate, but the quality is lacking. They should charge $15 a plate for the quality food they served. We were a table of 8 & everyone had similar reviews of their plates. The tomato salad was good, though.

Have been to Commodore several times and have always had a wonderful meal. We took a relative for dinner recently and once again enjoyed a delicious meal accompanied by excellent service. Our waitress, Eva, was very attentive but didn't hover so we were able to relax & enjoy dinner without feeling like we needed to give up our table. And speaking of table, we requested window seating which allows you to enjoy the beautiful scenery while savoring your meal. Would highly recommend.

Came on a whim. Seated right away. Service was great and so was the jumbo shrimp scampi. Will definitely be back.

The 1st floor is the Boathouse. We wanted a small dinner so we all ordered small plates. We had Cesar salad with soup & chicken wings. Lovely server.

horrible horrible horrible service. Walked about 35 minutes here based on a recommendation to be essentially turned away based on our age. I think they assumed we were spring breakers that wouldn't tip well but we were treated pretty aggressively for 5 girls (including an active duty service member) just trying to have a nice dinner. Complete attitude by all members of the staff who my party interacted with. Overpriced, overrated, super disappointed... If you want to get your steps in for the day - walk all the way there, turn around, walk to publix, make yourself dinner. Better food and better compny

We really enjoyed our vacation to Key West. One of the best happy hours in the city was the bar under the Commodore restaurant which was part of the restaurant. They had great half price small plates, For only $5 they served grouper and filet. They also had a few special mixed drinks. We ate there a few times and really enjoyed it

This is a popular spot on the dock, and for good reason. We sat outside for a late lunch and enjoyed a salad and some lobster bisque..delicious! Loved watching the birds and the people, too!

Food and pricing was amazing for happy hour. Be sure to go early, as it gets really crowded. Try to get outside seating if possible.

While on our cruise, we were taken there by friends that frequent this restaurant. We were delighted. Food was fantastic, as well as the happy hour specials and the service! Can't wait to go back when we aren't pressed for time.

We had a prime rib dinner and a lobster tail. The prime rib was very tasty but could have been a little thicker. My lobster tail was delicious and plenty good sized. Good drinks and fair prices.

It's pricey but the steaks and seafood were wonderful. The carpaccio was excellent. The scampi was seasoned perfectly.
