I was very excited to eat here based on reviews but was underwhelmed. Food was good but overpriced. Would not recommend with other options in the area.

First time here and regretting it took so long. It’s off the beaten path and isn’t that large, but it is very nicely decorated and furnished. Real southern food is an art and firefly perfected it. Maybe the best fried green tomato sandwiches I’ve ever had! Everything else was superb and the service was perfect. Treat yourself and go here for a real southern treat!

Food is excellent and service is the BEST! There are many wonderful brunch spots in Key West but Fire Fly is by far one of my favorites!

We can for the traditional southern New Year’s Day meal and we were not disappointed. Black eyed peas and collard greens were amazing. So was the Mac n cheese and cornbread and fried chicken. Definitely recommend

Certainly Strange

Deviled eggs (don’t forget pickles in garnish), spicy cornbread, shrimp & grits, spicy bacon wrapped meatloaf w Brussels and mashed potatoes. The Brussels sprouts were like collard greens - delicious.

We were lucky enough to stumble upon this restaurant, and boy am I glad we did! I am a big fan of fried green tomatoes, and their fried green tomato sandwich was to die for! Make sure to get something that comes with french fries too! I don't know what they do to make that potato magic, but they are probably the best fries I've ever had. My son is vegetarian, so food options can be a bit hard to come by, but they had a chicken fried portobello mushroom he loved! How cool is that? I have found the service and food pretty hit or miss in Key West, but Firefly exceeded all of our hopes. Way to go!!

Just because it’s not on Duval doesn’t mean it’s not one of the best. The food was yummy and they were great with my food allergies. They have a book with everything on their menu with substitutions if you have good allergies! It was great to eat somewhere and not have to worry if I’d be pulling out my Epipen! Make a reservation they have a limited amount of tables.

Went there for Thanksgiving. Food was Mn cold and not very tasty. Hardly any Turkey and what we were given was grizzly. The server was nice but the whole event seemed disorganized. For $75 a person I expected more.

The food looks good, but this was honestly the worst chicken and waffles I've ever had and I've had a ton as it is my favorite brunch item. The chicken had a hot sauce under the batter, the waffles already had syrup on it, so it was drenched, everyone likes different levels of syrup so not sure why they did that. The combo of hot sauce, syrup and pecans was very weird. When I sat down I received a cup with lipstick all over it, no problem it happens, so I asked for a second glass it also had lipstick on it. I didn't feel comfortable asking for a 3rd. Highly unimpressed, wouldn't recommend. The staff was nice though.

Cute spot away from all of the craziness. Service was great and the food was amazing!! Will definitely make this a place we visit every time we come to Key West!

I'm not sure what happened? When they first opened the food was delicious and unique. Staff was awesome. It appears that their chef either left or lost interest in creating good food. We have given them a fair chance and it's not getting better. If you are walking by, keep walking!!! Food is way overpriced bland and uncreative! So disappointed!!! Also, the staff has totally deteriorated!!! Had a good thing started but f@&$"@ it up!!!!

We had a really great time at Firefly the Thursday night before Goombay. It's clear the people at Firefly want to provide a fine dining experience in a relaxed and homey setting. The food was all delicious with the chef creating a menu that does various creative riffs on Southern cooking. Fried chicken, collared greens, mac & cheese were all top shelf. The braised bison rib and risotto cake, tender and delicious. Shrimp and grits, meatloaf wrapped in bacon also great with delicious sides. To top it off, the service was excellent, wine and beer list tops, and we very much appreciated the generosity and hospitality of the manager. Just a 100% pleasurable experience. A dining gem in Bahama Village.

Food was very good, highly recommend the deviled eggs and Mac and cheese... the hash brown casserole was not a fan fav. Service was slow, but there were 5 of us, just plan ahead!

Made a reservation for brunch on 4th Of Kuly expecting a mad house - what we got was serenity and yummy food. We got there soon after opening to a calm restaurant that was full by the time we left, but hadn't noticed because of the calm in which the table was waited, low noise level - both kids ordered biscuits and gravy, husband ordered cast iron shrimp and grits, I ordered the bacon egg cheese biscuit - we all tried all of the food and downed almost every bite - it was such a nice calm meal - if we lived there we would definitely be regulars
