Unfortunately, the food was weak and too expensive, and the sofas were cracked. We came out healthy - but very disappointed.

Local here! Delicious food, amazing drinks (great hour, btw??), friendly staff, and a beautiful atmosphere! It's easy to see why Grand Cafe is one of our favorite restaurants here in Key West.

Worst restaurant experience of my life. Two couples. $300 dinner. One couple put $180 cash in bill folder. I put in credit card for the remainder. Waiter brought it back and disappeared. He put the entire amount on the card. He never came back. Had to hunt him down and he claimed there was no cash. After 3-4 confrontations he disappeared again. Contacted owner who accused us of lying about the cash. BE ALERT IF YOU HAVE TO EAT HERE!! Highly recommend against it.

The hostess pretended that all the outdoor tables were reserved and only offered us indoor. After a server directly seated another no-reservation visitor, the hostess seated us outdoor as well. The crab cakes were too bready, the mushrooms cocktails should not exist, I enjoyed the spicy mussels. And the surprise delight was the Thai curry. Subtle flavors with a real kick. my partner couldn't eat seafood or red meat, and this dish was a gift

Enjoyed a lovely meal on the porch of this beautiful house. Even though it was busy, our server Nina made sure we had everything we wanted. The beet salad was yummy, as were the crab cakes. The hamburger was chopped steak, not ground chuck.

The location, ambience and comfort were great and so was our server. You're right on Duval but in a comfortable setting. The food is ok; the fish and meat for each entree was tasty but the sides were very basic (canned orange segments and some sticky noodles didn't complement my beautiful tuna steak). But overall we had a good time here.

The food was "fine" - but just fine. Our bill, for the food and service, not fine. Key West is not cheap - I get it. But a $200 dinner bill for 2 needs to get me food, drinks and a dining experience that is at least good because there's 101 other places to eat on the island for the same price. Any person pulled from the street with a few drinks in them would have been better than our waiter who seemed to be pretty stoned (funny...he's mentioned by name in other 3 star reviews here...). The drinks were terrible pours (later becoming a punchline during our trip...) The chef's tasting, at $55 a plate was literally tasting sizes of mediocre food. Tasting sizes of fabulous fare can be overlooked and probably would have prompted a dessert order to fill the stomach, but not here - after drinks plus 2 courses of disappointment why pile on for more? The outdoor setting is lovely, and a star for the food runner who was the real worker.

Made a reservation for 5 o'clock. Wanted to enjoy happy hour till 7 o'clock. When we were there they changed the happy hour from 7 o'clock to 6 o'clock. Felt a little deceived.

We didn’t get as far as the food. The world’s worst server came and literally flung menus at us without a word.when he did come back, we got a grunted “drink”. No hi, no welcome. We asked if they had bloody Mary’s. Just NO! We got up and left. On the way out another couple said they had been waiting 25 mins for drinks, but were too hungry to leave. The food looked great. I’m just sorry that this repulsive man spoilt our evening.

Lovely outdoor patio, unfortunately at the wrong end of Duval. Lots of loud drunks passing by as you eat. Great deals at Happy Hour, small plates are your best bet. I ordered the branzino which I don't think was branzino, was too fatty and oily so I think it was Sea Bass. Go for Happy Hour.

We had an amazing Valentine's Day dinner here! The food was absolutely delicious (calamari, lobster, and dessert). The owner even worked the tables to help with the amount of people being served. Our table was ready when we arrived early and the service was excellent! Thank you for making our night out extra special!

This restaurant was recommended to us and it was OK. Not great, but not bad either. It's right on Duval St., so lots to look at when dining on the patio (much better than inside dining). Our server was attentive, but there was a bit of waiting time. To be fair, she was very busy. The meals were good. The creme Brulee was described as homemade and the best. It was ok, but not great. I don't recommend this restaurant for special occasions, but OK for just a dinner out in Key West. I don't think we'll be back.
