This is a small shop along Duval that--surprise!--sells key lime products. They have a little outdoor back patio if you want to sit and eat there. Obviously, you can take your food to go, if you wish. The key lime pie was good. It's not as sweet as some places and you can definitely taste the tart key lime flavor, if that appeals to you. It had a good balance of sweet and tart. Nice enough shop and good pie.

TANGY KEY LIME PIE Stopped by while walking around. There was nobody in there but the friendly staff. I decided to try the chocolate dipped key lime pie. The pie was very tangy but the chocolate brought some balance. If I go back, I would try a regular slice.

I was just about to order pies from here until I saw the ingredients. Hydrogenated soybean oil and corn syrup, seriously? Both are likely GMO and unless you have been living under a rock we are well aware that they are associated with a lot of serious health problems. I actually thought the govt banned hydrogenated vegetable oils because trans fats are so toxic. I know everyone wants to maximize profit these days but I really wish bakeries would just use good old fashioned butter and cane sugar. You really gotta read the ingredients on everything nowadays, sigh.
