Our room was not ready because we flew in early and decided on this amazing place to eat. The staff was kind, french and provided great service. I had a savory crepe with brie and oh who cares.....it had brie....my comrades had sweet ones and gave me a bight of them and they were great and I had a wonderful mimosa. No better way to start our time in Key West.

Is there a zero star option? I used to come here when it was a different owner. Door wide open today, sat at the bar after selecting some cheeses, meat and a $48 bottle from the wall. Waited 25 minutes at the bar, people walked by, no one said anything to me for 25 minutes. A waitress helped a family who had also walked in on their own. Ignored me. I was patient until I wasn't. I politely asked two different staff members for a menu, and one finally told me that I had to be seated by a host from the restaurant next door. By this time, the family who had just walked in as well had drinks and their food. I had already picked out my cheese, a bottle and meat and was happy to wait, just not that long. Not even asked if I wanted a menu or water or mention someone would be with me soon. I asked if I could talk to the manager, and the waitress sounding Argentinian and simply rude said, "I don't have time for you." I replied that I wasn't trying to be a rude customer, and I just wanted a cheese plate, a menu for maybe some Shishito peppers, and to enjoy the wine at the bar. She continued being rude, yelled at the staff through the window in Spanish that I was a dumb bi*ch (I speak Spanish), and stomped off. I was beside myself, just confused, and ready to leave. Hope is someone supposed to know to go to the next door restaurant to be seated at the bistro bar next door with a different name and a bar? I waited because I'm a local and used love coming here, maybe 5 years ago. The new owner, Laura came in cussing me out after I extended my hand to shake with a smile on my face. There was a family of four with young kids and she screamed at me, "F*ck you, get the f*ck out of my bar, I don't need you, you aren't welcome, no one talks to my staff like that (like what?)," etc. I was so confused and sad at this point. Nearly embarrassed, and as I left, she continued to ridicule me, cussing insanely in front of customers and screaming. Clearly, not American, and although I've been to 23 countries and love culture and all of humanity, this woman was Mental. The staff, the owner, the service and everything was 40 minutes wasted. I'll never return and hope locals don't either. People like this can go back to the North East where customer service and a smile doesn't exist. Or please, take your illegal staff and head off of our beautiful and kind island. Mind you, I am not a Karen, I was just waiting for service. I'm a local bartender and always have a big smile and am kind. Then I get nasty comments because I'm 'inconveniencing' them with $100 order and a 20%-50% tip they won't get and don't want. How difficult is it to greet someone and let them know the area doesn't open until 5pm? Or, I'm sorry, but we're attached to the restaurant as well now, and you need to go up to the front and wait, or you can't sit at the bar? I have no idea. No one told me any of this, I'm guessing. Please, don't give this woman your money and bring in a new wine bar. Cruel, unprofessional, horrible service, even people outside were still waiting at their table for water 10 minutes. Good luck. Will be sure to inform as many people as I can. Place has gone down hill. I used to prefer online and they just lost that business too. Good thing they don't need it. UPDATE: Owner replied - I was not extremely rude. The door was open, the bar was open, there was no host stand, a family walked in on their own and were greeted in maybe 7-8 minutes with "Has someone helped you yet." They ignored me, and I said nothing for 25 minutes... to anyone. Your female staff was rude and disrespectful, and you didn't even ask me what happened and began cussing at me in front of children as I was kind to you when you walked in. You told me to write a review and f*ck myself with the most cruel words that were not deserved. I went out to have a nice lunch, have a smile, tip, spend money, relax...and received nothing. Like I was supposed to kno

We were looking for a relaxed Sunday afternoon lunch. Crepes? Perfect! Perhaps some gentle French jazz in the background? Nope: 90’s grunge at FULL VOLUME! So loud my wife and I had to shout to hear each other. Pardon my ignorance but isn’t the ambient music supposed to ENHANCE your dining experience? Next time we’ll sit outside.

Key West is magic to start with, but sitting outdoors at this marvelous bistro on a blue sky morning transports one to France. I adore savory pancakes and my idea of heaven is the galettes, in particular La Printaniere, altho my husband’s “French classic” did rival it. My next visit I opted for a breakfast salad: La Biquette. Omg so good. Friendly hospitable staff starts the day right… that and hot killer cappuccino! Best place for breakfast in KW

Food was good! But I have celiac and ordered a gluten free crepe and potatoes . My server put it in as a regular crepe on acedent. So I got gluten bombed.I questioned my server when I was presented the bill. There was no extra charge for gluten free.He went for the manager whom never showed up. And didn't seem like he cared. He made a comment that it's not a gluten free kitchen. Thanks for wreaking my very valuable and expensive Saturday in key west! Got sick as a dog!
