We wanted Key Lime Pie in Key West, and I read some posting that mentioned Mattheessen's. When I walked into the store, I almost forgot about the pie as I saw the cookies, fudge, and ice cream! The Key Lime Pie at Mattheessen's is deelish (despite the difficulty I'm having typing out the store's name...lol). It is not too tart and goes well with whipped cream (ALWAYS say yes to whipped cream). If you are Jonesing for Key Lime Pie, go to Mattheessen's!

The smells and flavors of these cookies are insane! Chocolate Chip, Snicker doodle and Oatmeal Raisin are the cookies we grabbed. They were all huge and tasty! They had a buy 2 get 1 free sale going on with fudge, we were gonna grab some on our way out but we honestly didn't have the time! Shame they looked amazing too!Parking: Hard to find a spot on Duval, better off walking or biking!Kid-friendliness: Like an old candy shop, plenty of stuff for kids to look at and want!

We have some amazing cookie shops back home, so the bar is set very high. This place makes some amazing cookies. I had to exercise some self control because I wanted to eat the entire 1/2 poud cookie. You will not be disappointed.
