What a delightful meal! A little off the beaten path from the busyness of Duval Street, Red Shoe offers warm service and a focused menu where every dish is well designed and delicious. Our server John gave us a thorough explanation of menu items and spot-on recommendations. His attentiveness and casual conversation throughout the meal really made the experience wonderful, and it seemed that other servers provided their tables the same level of attention. We ordered the deviled eggs with scallops, which really were a delicious treat, the fresh catch over polenta, which was rich and flavorful, and the stuffed poblano pepper, which blew us out of the water with its complex flavors and textures. Ending the meal with the lavender cheesecake, we were impressed that we were so satisfied without feeling overstuffed. Much better than going to a place on the main stretch that throws quantity over quality, Red Shoe was an amazing dining experience for a comparable price point.Vegetarian options: Because their menu is by nature small, there is just one vegetarian entrée (a pasta dish) plus salad options, but the entrée sounds delicious.

If you love 80's music, a fabulous wait staff and unique and delicious food this is the restaurant for you!! Super friendly and engaging servers! Sit at the bar for the best seat in the house. It's dinner and a show. We had salads, grilled Caesar and caprese, and the lobster stuffed shrimp. It was all wonderful! Save room for dessert because the lavender cheesecake is lovely! What a gem!!?

Incredible food, the best meal we had in Key West by far. Every bite was made of fresh and quality ingredients, and the dishes were both delicious and unique. Everyone was so friendly and service was fantastic. Could not have asked for a better meal!

Immediately yes!!!!! Immediately yes!!!! Hands down the best dinner we have had on the entire island. Fresh and delicious. They only have two seatings a night (6 & 8), so that should tell you something. Must make reservations (small restaurant with about 20 tables). There was a gaggle of folks waiting to get in at 6 (everyone had reservations) and the staff sat everyone quickly. They operate like a well-oiled machine! Now that you're done reading this review, go ahead and click on RSVP!!

This was our first time dining here. Victor was our waiter and he was excellent as was the food. Yes, the salad was small, but the entrees were not.

We have been to Red Shoe at least 3 to 4 times per year when we visit Key West. It never disappoints! The food is always delicious, no matter what you get. My faves are the seafood medley and the stuffed poblano with shrimp and grits. Don't forget the scallop and deviled egg app, a strange combination but it works like you would not believe. End the meal with lavender cheesecake and you will leave a happy person. Stop in the restroom for a compilation of record greats..... you'll see what I mean! Cheers! We love this place!

One of our absolute favorites, if not our favorite, on the island! Always so welcoming (especially to hometown Philly folks!) Friendly, knowledgeable, and always goes the extra step to make your dining experience memorable and delicious! A couple of things to do/try here:1. Get an appetizer! Beyond creative!2. Everything is perfect on the menu, but don't shy away from the beef stroganoff, trust me!3. Check out the bathrooms!4. Get the keylime pie! It's the best on the island!Wish I could give more stars for the Red Shoe Island Bistro!
