We were there 2 days before this location closed. I do not understand why it closed. it was a great location, great atmosphere, great service, excellent food, friendly people. Everyone enjoyed the food they had.

Whole experience was good. Staff was friendly. Service was quick. Our server was so friendly and polite. Was very attentive to our needs and the needs of our kids. It was awesome. The food was so good. Would highly recommend.

So, I had never eaten at a whalburgers before. I always wanted to cause my wife and I loved the show. The atmosphere wasn’t very special. Just looked like a regular place, but had pics of the brothers. I did see a pic of Mom. She seemed (and I’m sure was) like such a sweet and wonderful person. The food was a bit disappointing. I ordered a chicken sandwich and my wife ordered the main burger. Can’t remember the name of it. My chicken sandwich looked delicious, but once I bit into it…I thought I received the fish sandwich. Even looking at the bite marks exposing the meat looked like fish. I thought I was going crazy and had to ask my wife what it looked like. She thought fish too. I had to take the meat out and cut it in half just to make sure it was chicken. It was. Prevention…5 stars…taste…1. Average 3. Her burger…same. Looked great. Flavor….very bland. Service….well…when we did get it…very, VERY underwhelming. Got our menus…waited 5 minutes. Got our server…waited 5 minutes. Ordered our drinks…got it in two…got our food 5 minutes later..didn’t see our sever again until after we were done. Didn’t check on us. Didn’t ask if we wanted a refill. Nothing. And it wasn’t a busy day. Maybe 4 other tables had people. And it looked like we were the only one he was waiting on.Needles to say…I probably won’t be rushing to a whalburgers anytime soon based on this experience. I may go to one next time I’m in a town that has one, if anyone one I’m with really wants to try it out.

On Sunday’s, the restaurant closes at 9pm ET. On 04 June the manager, Rhonda, comes to the bar at 830pm ET and tells the bartender last call. At 838pm ET , the same manager comes back and says, “last call” and proceeds to turn the lights all the way up. 6 of the 12 guests just arrived and were ordering. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable being in a restaurant and feeling like an inconvenience. Our server/bartender was great and the food is always excellent at this location. Rhonda has got to go!! Pictured is Rhonda upset guests are still in the restaurant before it closes ? second picture are all the lights turned up to tell everyone to leave. Third picture, my amazing burger!

This has a great location on the marina are boardwalk. If you get a seat facing out it is nice to watch all the people walking through. The food is predictable if you have gone to others and that means it was good. Everything was as expected and as ordered. We love the food and ambience at any of these we have been too.

Pedro and Troy were amazing they have An amazing manager, Sylvia, food was excellent they were knowledgeable on the items, gluten free things, made us drinks even though the pannedic has rid the world of Kekes key lime liquor, still best key lime margarita in the keys. They won the award for best key lime margarita down here. Even thought it's corporate please locals give it a chance locals live here too

Got there at 4pm no customers. Poor server had only 1 table before us. The Red popsicle Sangria was perfect. Got two small plates chicken strips loaded fres, and they were delish.Dinner we shared a super melt and onion strings, also very good. Dillon was happier when we left, I think.?

This was, by far, the best VEGAN burger with a gluten-free bun that I have ever had! I was worried that I would end up eating a salad... server was great! Nice location down at the pier.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian burger was fabulous! Nice salad selections as well.

The service was completely inattentive to us but the staff seemed to enjoy being in a little group talking amongst themselves. One staff member realigned bar stools by dragging them over a cement floor instead of picking them up to move them. That sound, like chalk on a chalk board echoing very loudly, went on for a bit. The burger was so bland and presented terribly. We were shocked because we used to frequent the Wahlburgers in Hingham MA and it was amazing. Our meal was expensive and we left very unhappy. Such a shame it appears there’s no supervision anywhere.

We don't usually go to chain restaurants while on vacation, but we were hungry, having just arrived by boat and this was the first place we found with fish tacos. The fish tacos were very good. Served with fries or tater tots that come in a small basket. The tater tots were excellent. Glad we stopped.

The OFD was fantastic! I’m a cattle ranching burger snob and this was the 2nd best burger I’ve ever eaten. I’ve been in every state eating burgers so I really feel qualified to say that. For the person who said Culver’s burger is better. I ate a Culver’s the next day, and in my opinion the OFD was better. Culver’s has always been one of my favorites, but the beef inside my Wahlburger had a finer taste and quality. It didn’t leave the junk food taste or feeling after either.

This is my first and last experience t any Wahlburger. We went to this location and were seated immediately. Unfortunately that was the only good part. It was the only restaurant in Key West that was half empty, while all others had an hour wait. To start we had a rude waiter who clearly didn't want to be at work. We ordered two appetizers and drinks. He never came back. We noticed he got into a heated argument with another waiter in the kitchen. After about 30 minutes of not seeing him anymore I finally asked one of the waiters if our waiter went home or something. He said yes!!! The staff knew our waiter went home and never even came over to tell us. A wonderful young lady came over and apologized a d took our order all over again. After an hour and a half we finally got our food. The side of fries was about the size of a McDonald's small fries that comes in a Happy Meal. My wife's burger was supposed to have a gluten free bun and had a regular bun. That is a big deal when you have people allergic to gluten. It took us almost 2 hours to eat there and the restaurant never got more than half full at peak time on a Saturday.....that's how bad this place is. The only bright light in this place was the hostess named Troy who stepped in to wait our table. She was a remarkable employee with the best attitude. She knew how bad it was and tried so hard to keep everyone smiling. She should be running this place. Even after she waited on our table to whole night I asked if the tip would go to her or someone else. She said she was not a waitress and it wouldn't go to her.
