When we visit Orlando, we cannot resist a delicious trip to the Ponderosa. They’re not getting enough credit for how delicious the breakfast is! Great variety, cooked breakfast, cereal, pancakes and even sweet treats and for such a great price.

Been to florida 4 times over the last 6 years and pondarosa was ok and we'd probably visit 4/5 times over the course of 2 weeks. We came back 2 weeks ago, and only ate once. Food was poor and expensive for what you got. Restaurant prices for canteen food. Won't be going back ever again.

Overpriced, rude staff, (no tip left), not recommended unless you would prefer to spend way too much for food cooked in a servo, pay extra where the salad bar, extra again for ice-cream or sweet. Only good bit is that drinks are bottomless. Woe betide you if any of your party are handicapped. Standing waiting for a table not ideal. Won't be returning

We have been eating here for years and years but tonight will be the last time. £166 or $202 for a 10 of us without ordering a main meal. Rolls were dry, pizza had curled up, vegetables so hard we couldn't bite them. Just awful. Golden Corral is so much better and actually worth the money. Don't get me started on the state of the toilet.

If you're going to go just for the buffet don't. They've cut it way back. Only cheap stuff, for example: meat on buffet was pot roast, fried chicken and chicken wings. They are pushing you to buy a $20-$30 steak. Also most of the tables were dirty.

Haven’t been to Florida for a couple of years but when we did we always used to use this restaurant. Visited today on our return to Florida and what a massive disappointment. Initially we were surprised that there was no queue like when we last visited but it quickly became clear why. The food was of very poor quality and massively overpriced for what it was. The restaurant itself is so run down it’s now a very unwelcome environment. It’s really sad to seen a once good restaurant in such a poor state. Unfortunately after today’s experience we would never visit this restaurant again.

I was never a big fan of ponderosa, I preferred GC, bit wife always liked here. Can't give a review as we didn't make it past front door! Ponderosa always had reputation for being reasonable price and good buffet. This was our first trip to florida in 3 years due to covid, thought we would stop in for a steak, so prices have doubled, nearly $20 for what was always an average steak, but the real shock was that they now charge for the buffet too, so add a drink in and ur talking close to $30 each, add in that the ice cream machine not working , and the fact that there were so many available tables, which is so different from the old days!!!! We decided to go elsewhere, drove 5 minutes to texas roadhouse where better quality steak was on sale for less than ponderosa. This was a once fine restaurant which has seen its best days behind it

The initial person sat at the checkout looked so miserable. Wow she really didn’t want to be there no smile to greet you or any humour The food is very average and looks pretty stale. It’s so k if you want to fill up on tasteless food and get your money worth. Don’t expect too much quality food as there isn’t any. The server was a nice lady and seemed to be trying her best to keep a smile going. Would I return…… Sadly not

Saw the prices online for the buffet by itself, then went in, ice cream machine broken, then buffet price was almost double than what it was advertised online. So nahhh I'm good , i rather pay for a good meal in golden corral ?

My family went in and we paid for basically butt on a plate. The food was disgusting the spaghetti and meatballs tasted like the SpaghettiOs out of a can. The fried chicken was old and cold. The mac & cheese was super Duper runny and Cold. The waitress took forever to bring the drinks in when she did the fruit punch had a nasty after taste. I would not let my worst enemy eat here the overall experience was terrible if I could give them 0 rating I surely would.

First and foremost, I ordered the chicken dinner and buffet, told the cashier to hold the baked potato, when my waiter comes with my plate, he brings me this huge plate with a piece of chicken the size of a pea, I asked the waiter where was the rest of my food and in a condescending manner, told me that I told the cashier to hold the starch, which was correct, he then proceeds to tell me that I misunderstood the cashier, I’m still confused as to what I misunderstood, his job as a server was not met when he brought the plate out and continuously telling me that I misunderstood, the food at this point is horrible, most of that junk on the salad bar was cold and wasn’t worth putting it on your plate and the workers was rushing you out basically telling you that they was about to close, wanting you to leave and they where so busy packing them plates to go! Horrible service and food, cheap meal but save your money and go elsewhere! The place also reaks of a musty odor

The prices are high and the size of products small the range was very minimal and old and tired looked like it had been there all day it tasted either undercooked or over cooked the desert section had only 4 items on it no ice creams at all the server stood 2 tables away from me chatting to another girl ,I could go on and on but I will let my feet do the walking and never cross a ponderosa doorway

Manager was very unprofessional and racist. Took white customer before acknowledging my family and I. When he did acknowledge us, there was no greeting and acted as if we were bothering him. He also took 4 other white families while we just stood there. Needless to say, we didn’t stay …. Our money spends the same!

We are back in Florida after a long pause because of the pandemic. This place was our favourite breakfast restaurant. What has happened? The prices have taken a huge increase but the options have been greatly reduced and the once great atmosphere is non existent. We called a couple of times and then decided this place was no longer for us. There are cheaper options with more on offer available in the area.

This restaurant was probably the low point of our spring break trip. Maybe we are just not buffet people, but when you have to pay for the buffet in advance you also have to leave a tip at that point in time (unless you have cash to leave on the table). How can you know how much to tip before you meet your server? Plus, all they do is bring your beverages. We were seated right next to other groups of people even though there were booths open farther away. The food was underwhelming. None of us truly enjoyed our food. Plus, we spent more on buffets here than the night we went to a mid-range steakhouse! I would say go elsewhere.
