Every once in a while I will park at Disney Springs and take a bus to the Boardwalk (or Yacht Club, Beach Club, Swan or Dolphin). Then I’ll walk around the Boardwalk area, checking out the shops or, as was the case in this most recent trip, check out the Christmas decorations, especially the gingerbread creations and the miniature railroad set up at the Yacht Club. Then I stop and have lunch somewhere. Most of the time, it’s here at Hurricane Hanna’s.Hurricane Hanna’s Waterside Bar and Grill is located right outside the shared pool of Yacht and Beach Club (Stormalong Bay). It’s a lovely spot to sit, eat, and people watch. You don’t have to be a pool user, or even be staying at the resort to eat here. It’s a quick service bar and grill so you can get a burger, chicken fingers, Caesar or garden salad, impossible burger, seafood roll, and my favorite, a chicken sandwich.The chicken sandwich I had was grilled, came with fries, and topped with cheese and a chunky avocado. I like avocado but I would have gotten this without avocado or on the side. Other than that, it was perfection. The fries were hot and crispy and salty. So good. I’m glad they went back to these fries and got rid of the waffle fries, which always seemed kinda stale.The chicken tenders are the same you get at every quick service at Disney, but my child thinks this one has the best tasting ones. Maybe it’s because we always build up an appetite from walking around?The chicken sandwich, as of 12/29/23, was $12.49 and a kids meal chicken fingers was $8.49 (you can ask to sub the fruit with French fries).It does have a small seating area and if you order at the window you’ll be given a buzzer to let you know when your food is ready. It might be hard to get a seat there, but you can sit on the beach, or on the grass under a tree, or there’s a few more seats around the corner from the grill, by the ship (water slide).If you have room for dessert, make your way to the Beaches and Cream take out window and grab some ice cream or a sundae. A pool bar with some food options at Disney's Beach Club Resort. You don't need to be in the pool area to visit, we entered from the Boardwalk. There are multiple signature cocktails as well as a full bar and beers on tap. Our drinks were enjoyable and we had friends who ordered food and enjoyed that as well.

It's gets the job done for a pool spot but there is nothing special about the food or service. It would be nice if they had some healthier options. We do it once every time we visit and are usually underwhelmed. Give it a shot for convenience but temper expectations.

Passable food but served by ignorant, rude staff. The worst service I had in Disney - my food was put on a tray and I had some boxes thrown at me and was told I would have to pack it myself to takeaway as they didn’t have time - “we ain’t got time to do that, not today!” , the lady snorted at me. This is not the Disney experience you pay for and certainly isn’t what you would expect from Beach Club - I’m happy to pack my food up but to be talked to in such we used it once and not again.

Service was great they are quick and efficient at this bar/grill. I ordered the seafood roll which was reasonably priced and came with fries. The mixture/sauce was a bit tamgier than I would've liked so I probably wouldn't order it again but the filling was STUFFED. They didn't skimp out on anything and the fries were perfect. I would say that they should just call it a shrimp roll? I really only saw & tasted shrimp. Seafood to me is a blend of shrimp/mussels/crab/lobster/scallops etc. Overall the food was good just not to my liking flavor wise. The service was good. The bar is right next to the pool so definitely gets busy but worth it overall in my opinion! Check it out the next time you are at the resort or resort hopping. It is right nextdoor to another hotel as well so the opportunities are endless.

the food was really delicious and served on time. barley any wait. the workers were mostly polite except one. one older lady was rude and didn't acknowledge me when i got my food which makes me drop a star. overall i find it a perfect place beside the pool to get a drink or food. it is comfortable and i always go to it.
One of the coolest places to sit, eat and people watch! This is one of our favorites when we come to Disney

The staff are friendly and great. The bar itself is a little subpar but they are geared more the light beer and fruity drink crowd. That's not bad in itself just not my jam.

Really mediocre food and not a lot of options. Not a bad lunch spot if you're in a pinch by the pool and don't feel like changing out of your swimsuit, but that's about it. The service was also pretty slow if you have them deliver to your chairs. Just didn't seem like enough staff. The drinks were good, but make sure you have plenty of time on your hands at this stop.
