Well! I ordered pancit bihon with rice noodles that tasted like Top Ramen. I was NOT expecting this meal to taste this poorly especially since I’ve eaten this dish in the Philippines and has been made by my Filipino friends several times afterwards. Overpriced for garbage!

Such a shame because the cakes here are good but owner lack of response to my texts and voicemail really give a bad impression on the service. I wanted a customised cake for my daughter's 18th birthday and I personally spoke to Mercel. She asked me to provide a picture and I texted her few times and never heard from her. Now I am stuck with ordering Publix cake. I would not do business with this bakeshop nor would I recommend this place. Really unprofessional not to return messages.

I'm confused. The photos on here show food made and desserts on display. Drove 45 minutes from Winter Springs to this area to check out the Filipino places by this neck of the woods. Walked in and there was NO pre made food station, but there were like 4 booths with people sitting down eating. I don't know if they're workers or family members of the people who work there. But they were eating and not one dessert on display. Not one person acknowledged our presence when we walked in, therefore we walked out and didn't spend a $1

We come here for the halo-halo and palabok. It's pretty good. Ross cooks pretty consistently but gets cranky when he's by himself and has a lot of orders. Sometimes, we just come by to stock up on the Filipino snacks. Nobody comes here for the ambience.

Came here to buy some pantry supplies with both of my kids age 4 and 6yo with me. I ordered snacks for them to enjoy while I browse the aisle to shop. And Ate Rose na receptionist/cashier was very attentive and friendly. She is very personable. And we enjoyed her company. My children loved their interaction with her. She let them sing a song as she listened patiently. She is very good with her customers. Well done Tita! Keep up the great work!!!

Horrible way to conduct business…..drove all the way from Oviedo to try their food and because they were busy decided that the “bistro” section of the store is closed. With that said, off to some other Filipino restaurant for brunch and another Filipino store for shopping.

We were excited to find a place that could make the Filipino mocha cake my mom loves. It’s an hour away, but thought it would be worth it. Placed an order 2/9 for pickup 2/24. I was able to message the number on the website and received a very quick response time. Got the order placed for the Kissimmee location and confirmed within minutes. Pick up date was today 2/24. Our order wasn’t available. It did not appear the store staff member even had knowledge of our order. The only cakes available were rolls from Goldilocks and the only whole cake was a mango cake from Goldilocks… my suggestion would be that if you wanted to give them a try, consider calling in advance to confirm your order again and again the day prior to pick up. Also, pay upon receipt of the cake. I would have appreciated advanced notice if my order would not have been able to be filled. I now need to make a mocha birthday cake the day prior to the birthday… bummer it didn’t work out for us.

The food is very pricey. The items are very pricey, the owner is not friendly at all. Boxes everywhere, the fridge at the back looks like an abandoned place. Too much!

Mercel Bakeshop. I always order my Filipino food here. They're very hospitable and gets the orders right, most of the time. Their food is delicious and it's not very pricy. My favorite is pancit canton (fat noodles with chicken or shrimp and vegetables). Almost like lomein but, less oil and more tasty, in my opinion. and their Turon (banana wrapped in wonton wrapper, sweet and crunchy). I've ordered these from other Filipino restaurants but, Mercel gets it right all the time. I recommend this restaurant/store The store is clean and they have seatings to eat there.

Every single time I'm in Kissimmee, I have to stop by Mercels for their lunch menu. I often order Palabok and it is fresh and delicious every single time! On my way out I can't forget to grab some of their pre-made frozen Siopao and also if I'm early enough they have fresh Kutsinta still available. I love love their food!!
