It's on OK place to eat, not gourmet but the buffet has a lot of stuff including chicken wings and beef stew. The taste is OK and there is a lot of variety. Washrooms need some work.

I visited Ponderosa after seeing it on a YouTube video, I read the reviews and in all honesty I wasn't expecting to enjoy the experience, but I'm pleased to say that we had a good meal. We only ate from the lunchtime buffet, there was plenty of choice of hot and cold food, a great range of desserts, everything was cooked and tasty, the pizza is similar to a frozen supermarket pizza but I ate it! The server was fantastic, topping up our drinks as soon as they were heading towards empty. The music was from the late 80's which as a child of the 80's I appreciated and found myself singing along as I was loading my plate up! Would I go back? Yes, but there's loads of other places I'd like to try first.

This place is pretty good! IT IS A ALL YOU CAN EAT PLACE & IS VERY AFFORDABLE BUFFET! They have selections of many foods spaghetti, soul food,burgers, tacos,Chinese. They have an fantastic salad bar with almost everything you would want on a fresh green salad. They also have a huge dessert bar,wheww my whole family (40 of us) left full and happy!

Haven't been to a Ponderosa in 35 years. On vacation in Florida, thought we would try the one in Kissimee. Walked in, parts of the menu by the register were covered with paper. Lady asked us what we wanted. Asked why the paper covering some of the menu. She said they don't have those steaks. If you want steaks, look at the menu on the wall outside of the line. Expected us to know they haven't had those steaks in a long time. This was the rudest, most unbelievable service gaffe I have ever experienced. Whether this is a company store, or a franchise, that person needs to go.
