Taqueria Casas 2 is a small hole-in-the-wall type mom-and-pop Mexican restaurant that definitely lends credence to my long-held belief that the best Mexican food does not come from a restaurant heavy on ambiance, but rather the best Mexican food I have found comes from these small and humble establishments. The ordering procedure is that you go up to the counter and place your order to the person behind the counter. They do not give a number or anything like that and they bring you your food. I went with four tacos and they are very affordable at two dollars each. I had a cabeza taco, a chorizo taco, an asada taco, and a carnitas taco. They also have a salsa and toppings bar next to the counter. It took them a bit to get the food out to me, but when it came, the tacos were pretty good and for two dollars each, it was definitely a great price point. I would definitely recommend here.

While visiting FL we missed our homemade food so we looked up “ Mexican food “ and this one came up, from the reviews we decided to give it a try. I ordered the tacos asada with side of rice/beans. The tacos were super delicious. Salsas at the bar were good and spicy. The rice and beans could’ve been better, wouldn’t order it again but overall I would come back to eat here next time I’m in FL.
