So sad. Prices went up and food really slid. It was a busy popular place with growing clientele. We went regularly and liked the food. We loved the hand breaded calamari. Now is like wood get a Publix. Soups went up 80%. Couple entrees that were favorites went up 50-70%. Bread on table was not old I do expect that price will hop 20-30% in today’s world Heard they dropped Tuesday pizza special Place was nearly empty at 6 pm. I guess the word is out. Again, sad. Will not survive long

Rude manager. Stay away. Threatening to call the police because I complained about service. Will never return.

Ate lunch here before a show. They got us in and out. A pleasant surprise was they had pizza on for 1/2 price. I had carne and it was delicious and my husband had clam chowder and his was really good too. Great deal and plenty of pizza for 2. Good service, nice atmosphere and we will go back.

Just because they are full is an excuse for poor service. I had to order more than once and got skipped several times. They need 2 bartenders outside. Heard a lot of excuses and no service. Our appetizers came out cold and after other people ordered

Good place for dinner. Great food portions & daily deals. Pasta night & fish nights are our favorites. Their Lasagna is absolutely fabulous, big & multi layer. Great staff. Give these ladies a try & keep a good business going. Clean, happy place. Accommodate medium size groups with reservations.

Server 'Reagan very good. Lasagna huge, enough for 2. Shrimp appetizer excellent.Only lows were mixed drinks - weak and silverware cheap and flimsy.

We are full time residents of The Villages and enjoy going to "The Squares" with an occasional "out to dinner" experience prior to sitting in the square to listen to the bands. This particular night we decided on Augustine 1812 House as we had been there twice before- and experienced great food and a wonderful wait staff. Last night however was appalling. It was vendor night so many restaurants were busy which was to be expected. My husband had chosen Augustine 1812 House as he had loved the lasagna and decided that was what he was in the mood for. So we had thought maybe sitting outside at the bar and eating would be fun and somewhat different. There was plenty of room at the outside bar, however there were no chairs. There was at least a 7 ft span (with 2 hooks for pocketbooks) with no chairs. We went inside and there was Karaoke going on with again- space to sit at the bar but no chairs. We asked one of the hostesses about being able to get chairs to sit either outside or at the Inside bar but she said she would have to ask. Fine. Meanwhile- another hostess came out and started taking names for people to be seated. We continued to await a response for our seating requests. The initial hostess deferred to the second hostess "Brittany". Ms Brittany stated that the chairs outside and inside were divided so that the bartenders would have an equal amount of patrons and no other chairs would be available to sit outside or inside. Meanwhile, she kept taking on new customers while we stood to the side waiting on that response as to getting a barstool outside or inside. So now- there have been about 6Couples putting their names in ahead of us because we were ignored after the No chairs available response. I became upset as we were basically just cast aside and ignored. We decided that her rudeness was inexcusable and we decided on heading to a different venue. As we ventured to Mcalls- I felt that I needed to go back because it was just plain rudeness and inconsideration that sent us away. I went back to ask for the Hostess's name to which she replied" and what is your name?" I said I want your name to which she replied "Brittany" and attempted to also also states her last name. I said I didn't need her last name to which she replied" we've dealt with you before and I'm looking forward to your review which I will be responding to"-So obviously she thinks I'm someone else as we have never had anything but a good experience there. Until now. Because of her rudeness and appalling attitude- we will not be returning. And we will make sure that our friends are aware of the inconsideration and rudeness that this staff have presented- and yes Brittany- respond- as I will be posting this upon multiple platforms just because of your aggressiveness and "looking forward to responding" this review. The owners should take care in who they hire and be sure to provide proper training as she obviously should NOT be representing their establishment. Btw- McAlls provided an amazing experience so - yep- a win for us!

My husband and I have been steady customers for close to a year. In that time we have seen many changes to the restaurant. None very good. Prices have gone very high and they have taken many items from the menu. Also their drink options have changed. They are always out of certain wines and beer. If you run out (on a Friday night) somebody is messing up. Go to Total Wine and get more. Most of our favorite servers have left also. Very disappointed and will not be going back. Best part of the place at this point is Mischelle and Maureen.

Aside from our waitresses, this was the absolute WORST dining experience I have ever had. The food was over cooked and cold at the same time; not one plate of eight was edible and there was two hairs in my step daughter’s over cooked pizza. The manager sent over a server to deal with our complaints rather than dealing with it herself. It was the most unprofessional thing that could have been done in that situation. Coming from 15 years of experience in the restaurant business this could have been handled so much better. The manager and chef should be ashamed.

The absolute worst food and management I have ever experienced. The server Kay was the only good point of the meal. We were a party of 8, everything was cold. Ordered a rare steak that was med well. After speaking with the manager, who did offer to remake the food, we declined because the food was so awful. We found that the pizza we ordered had 2 hairs on it. Asked the hostess to speak with the manager again and she rolled her eyes at me and walked away. The manager didn't have the professionalism to even come back and speak with me, she sent a server out (not ours) to give us the bill for the drinks, after waiting for 10 minutes or more. Do yourself a favor and run the other way!

Not bad, not great. The setting is OK and when there is good weather, the outside facing the square is likely pleasant. The staff are upbeat, and service was good. The wine selection is mediocre. We tried the fried olives but found them disappointing, being a bit over fried and the variety of olives not a good match for fried olives. The Italian Stallion sandwich looked like it should be good, but the meat was very dry and soaking it in au jus was not enough. We are likely to try other places before we consider returning to give them a second chance.

Fourteen pieces of calamari, some burnt for fifteen dollars. When non-burnt calamari was requested, it was replaced by a generous portion of adequate fried rings. There seems no reason to return.

The fish fry special on Friday is phenomenal! I’ve never seen a piece of fish that big! The service was good. Definitely recommend ! Also good happy hour prices before 6 PM.Parking: Lots of parking available in the Villages.

Went for pizza special to be told they were out of pizzas. They are half price on Tuesdays and what is why we went. Calamari appetizer was pathetic and tasteless. My friend ordered the bruschetta and it was uneatable. Soggy bread and tomatoes. Probably will not return even is they get pizza again.
