Fascinated by the quality of the food, you can repeat if something provokes you, the patriot platter includes a salad, main dish and a dessert that is crazy... you must reserve in advance, but it is really worth it!!

We are frequent flyers when it comes to staying at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Campgrounds. It continues to be a favourite for us although it is getting a little pricey. Sadly our favourite campground restaurant Trails End has become a quick service food stand. No more full service buffet style meal. The selection is minimal, quality not very good and the fun Trails End atmosphere is gone. When we’d check in and get set up at our site our first stop was almost guaranteed to be dinner at Trails End. No more. We now go off property to Millers Ale House which is very good and just a five minute drive away. I’m a lifelong Disney fan but so many of the wonderful qualities that I loved about Disney are becoming history. Makes me sad. Don’t waste your money on Trail End.

Best deal on a fried chicken meal for 2+ people anywhere on Disney properties. Use the mobile app to get the deal. 8 pieces, 2 sides, and cornbread for $28. Satisfies. Delicious. Seasonal old fashioneds at the bar are pricey but never disappoint. Order one to go and enjoy a beach side sunset. To get there, take the express monorail to the Magic Kingdom park entrance, stop short of entering the park and board the Ft Wilderness Resort boat. The beach, bar, and restaurant are among other things to see and do at the arrival landing. Boats run back and forth until about an hour after the park closes.

Whole experience was just poor. Was overcharged for food, then found the food was mislabeled when we got home. Figured it might just be a mistake so we went back. Asked for pepperoni pizza but asked if they could leave half the pizza just cheese. They said they couldn’t. They literally made the pizza right in front of me and said they had to put pepperoni on all of it. I get paying for the whole thing to be pepperoni but don’t get why they couldn’t leave it off half.

Bring back the buffet and family style options. Currently over priced for what you get and food is not as good as it used to be. Kitchen is entirely without joy. Seeing as how there is literally no where else to eat on this entire expansive property, this place really needs to be tip top and delicious. They need more options, more warm food, better portions, and more life in their quick service. I miss the old trails end. Better when Chef TJ was running the kitchen.Parking: Must take a bus from main lobby parking area to restaurant. It is a little bit of a pain especially if you're hungry or got hungry tired kids. Plan ahead and be early to enjoy property and have time to get to restaurant from main lobby.

This is a pretty fast service restaurant that will bring your food to your table after ordering. You can order at the check out or do a mobile order. There are some nice views of Bay Lake from inside the restaurant and there is an arcade and bar there, too. The food here is not as expensive and is closer to counter service food and pricing. They have a nice covered deck outside to shield you from the Sun and so you can enjoy the views.

We've eaten at Trails Inn every time we go to Disney World. It's a tradition to see the horses and eat here. We decided to do it again on this trip even though it's no longer the buffet. There were 6 of us. NOTHING is made to order regardless what people say. Even mobile ordering is pre-made. It's all pre-made and kept in a heated display. We grabbed a bag of chicken that the cast member put out "fresh" from the kitchen. The chicken was very soggy with zero flavor. Anyone can tell the food is precooked, frozened, and reheated. The brisket had gristle in it!!!! It tasted more like oven roasted. The macarroni and cheese was globs of no flavor pasta with very little cheese. The mashed potatoes were runny. As a party of six we threw 3/4 of the food in the trash. We ended up getting hotdogs at Casey's in Magic Kingdom. We will NEVER again eat here. Without a doubt it was the worst meal we had in the entire Disney World complex.

We went into the bar area. There were 4 people working behind this small bar. One guy was at one end waiting on customers. One fellow appeared to be in training. My issue was that they had menus just lying by the door on a table and instructed us to grab one of the menus then go find a seat. Sorry if this runs you the wrong way, but it seems to me that since they were not busy and had an abundance of help, why wouldn’t you seat people and hand them a menu? Go over the menu and answer questions. I felt like they didn’t care if we were there or not. Food we read was great, I felt like it was just average at best. The Charcuterie board was not the best and we were quite disappointed. We heard they had great pizza so we went back the next night before the fireworks to get a pizza and watch the fireworks on the porch. only to discover you needed to do this on the mobile app! We got that acomolisheed and again the pizza was underwhelming to say they least. It was worse than a 99 cent pizza you get at dollar general! I am not a picky eater and we threw some of it away. All that to say, you know going g in that you’re not going to get the best food you ever ate. But at least make it good for the price you are charging people. Am also quite disappointed with the service that we received there

My family and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Trail's End Restaurant for three consecutive nights, and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment we stepped foot into the restaurant, we were captivated by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The highlight of our dining experience at Trail's End was undoubtedly the fried chicken. We couldn't resist ordering it every night, and it never failed to impress. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside, with a tender and juicy interior. The flavors were simply mouthwatering, leaving us wanting more with each bite. We were thoroughly impressed by the chef's skill in preparing such a delicious dish.Despite the restaurant being busy during the New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, the staff at Trail's End were friendly, attentive, and helpful. They ensured that our dining experience was enjoyable and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Their warm and welcoming approach added to the overall positive ambiance of the restaurant.Speaking of ambiance, Trail's End Restaurant is a beautiful establishment. The attention to detail in the decor and layout created a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The combination of rustic elements and modern touches added to the overall charm of the space. It truly enhanced our dining experience and made us feel comfortable and relaxed. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Trail's End Restaurant and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. The delicious and crispy fried chicken alone is worth a visit, but the overall ambiance and exceptional service take it to another level. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for a memorable meal with your loved ones, Trail's End is the place to go.Kudos to the staff and management at Trail's End for creating such a wonderful dining experience. We are grateful for the memories we made at your restaurant and look forward to returning in the future.
