What happened to this place?I had the "Happy Family" and the best thing was the rice. Totally over cooked. All the veggies were soggy and limp. The meat and seafood was tough as, you know. Good broth though.My wife got the Shrimp Egg Foo Yung and had the "trots" all night.Don't even ask me about the egg rolls.This place used to be good.

Hong Yip has to easily be the best Chinese-style food in Lake City. There's fancy Asian fusion restaurants that just don't get the home-cooked feeling right, and other restaurants that just don't hit the mark. The fried rice is well-seasoned, noodles perfectly cooked, and fried food's crunchy and hot every single time! Definitely recommend for locals and people just passing through.

Great Chinese food, try the peanut butter chicken or sesame chicken. Great fried rice and ramen noodles. Ask for the wasabi nice and fresh delicious

Was a great restaurant to eat at but ever since COVID19 they have never reopened for Dine In! What's the point of a buffet if you can only get take out!! seems like it's a win win for them and well just suck's for though's of us who enjoyed the dine in buffet!
