I cannot adequately express how pleased I am with every single aspect of this restaurant. The food? I would compare it to my Sicilian mother's recipes - delicious!! Ambiance? Lovely, (I especially enjoy the outdoor patio)! My family and I enjoy this restaurant so very much that we visit several times a month. Sometimes I sneak out and visit all by my self, (don't tell - it my dirty secret?). Seriously though - if you enjoy Italian cuisine - you can't get any closer to, "the real thing" than the fare at Sal's, (don't even get me started on their desserts)! With that said - I pray they continue offering up their goodness for many, many years to come...as I'll be visiting as long as they're doing the cooking!

We had planned on a quick lunch at Chick Fil-A it found it to be very crowded. I had also seen Sal’s on Yelp so we decided to try them instead and I’m very happy that we did! The dining room had plenty of tables and there was a side patio, as well. It was clean and welcoming.We were immediately greeted by our sweet, friendly server who recognized that my husband was not in the best of moods after fighting the traffic! She was very helpful and her friendly spirit helped to turn his mood around. When he saw that they had fountain Coke products (which were properly brixed) and got our food, he was back to his chipper self!Our server quickly brought us our order. He got the American and was happy he could get it toasted. I got the Caesar salad with grilled chicken and was delighted with the generous size! And the $4 for grilled chicken was a bargain! I took about half of that perfectly seasoned chicken with me!I highly recommend Sal’s not only for the food, service and ambience but also for the location which is on the less busy side of I-75!
Driving back home from Florida. This place is a real gem! The sandwiches were out of this world. We will always be stopping here every time we drive to Florida.
