Great home made food by a good mom and pop restaurant there breakfast buffet needs more of a selection

Breakfast was fresh and yummy , service was excellent. Staff was extremely pleasant staff and the little girls cleaning were so polite. We will definitely eat here again.

There wasn't any chicken when we arrived. It tasted like it was fried in the same grease as the seafood.The service was great. The salad bar had a big selection of veggies

I really wanted to like this place. And maybe it's because I stopped on a work trip at 130 in the afternoon and the buffet closes at 2 pm. I read reviews about how incredible the buffet was with a wide variety of food. I did not have that experience. It was traditional country food. Fried chicken full of grease. Salty green beans. And milky mashed potatoes. My goal was to find a local place with soul warming food in Lake City. This place missed the mark for me.

I am shocked that this place is rated as high as it is. Did it change owners recently? It was our first time going and I really should have looked at the buffet before sitting down. The only meat was very over cooked fried chicken (breasts only) and super dried out and crusty meatloaf. There were like 8 places for food and everything looked disgusting. Could barely choke down a few bites of a salad because the lettuce was wilted and old. No real toppings. “Dessert” was a joke. We weren’t greeted or seated so we just sat ourselves. Waitress didn’t smile or say please or thank you once. And the whole restaurant was disgustingly dirty. The whole place should be bulldozed. I can’t believe the health department doesn’t shut this place down. Obviously I’ll never be back.

I believe there is a different owner, EVERYTHING has change with the food. The options are gone there’s only chicken no pork chops or other meats and the taste is totally different now. I had to get my own refill while the waitress was holding her baby talking with her family.Even the vibe is different, ANYONE else feel this????

Great hole in the wall the fried chicken was to die for and the shrimp was perfect. Highly recommend to people passing through the area.
