I love small local coffee shops like this, and to find one that both grows and roasts their beans is very rare in my experience.There's a smoothness to their coffee that you would be hard pressed to find elsewhere. Is it the shade-grown beans from the family farm in India? Their roasting? Who knows, but it's a delight.Their iced lattes aren't watery or weak, they're perfection.They have both sweet and savory "wrapped croissants", and we liked both of them.Seating is very limited to just a couple of tables, but most people are likely taking their food treasures to the beach. That's because Chik Monk is easily walkable from the main (Sunset Ave.) entrance to Sunset Beach. “We went to celebrate King Charles coronation. We had a great time. 6 ladies all wearing fascinators and spring dresses. We had the Duchess tea with champagne. Started with tomato soup and quiche. Then tray of sandwiches, scones, sweets. The cinnamon cream and jelly were just right for the perfectly baked scones. Of course the tea was delicious, I had gingerbread tea. My granddaughter had the Tot tea with a little pot of pink lemonade. She loved it. We will definitely be back. The parking was great. We parked on Dixie Hwy and walked around the corner to avoid a possible tight space. We walked to the park across the street to enjoy the huge trees and walk off some of the fullness we felt.“

“I ordered today after stopping in for gas this morning. Yes I got gas at a bakery. We ordered a bunch a food from Pulled pork hot plate “with free beef tamale as a side”, Cuban sandwich, Argentinian chicken empanada, beef pastelito, cheese pastelito, and a coconut pastelito and we even threw in a Jamaican beef patty for good measure. I quickly signed up for chow now and after my order was placed I got email, text and the page gave me live update of order. My order came in timely manner. I never leave reviews but I had to today. Every single thing I tried was so good, fluffy, sweet, tasty, and blew me away for being in a gas station!!! I can’t say enough about this. It made my entire day and you now have a customer for life. Even if you told me you were out of everything and just sent me the coconut pastelito I still would be writing this review. It was that good. Thank you so much for taking so much care in your food. “We were camping at John Prince Park and search for some ice cream and came here based on their reviews. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted and the woman offered us samples. I went with a Guatemalan ripple, and my husband went with Moose tracks. I told her I didn't need a sample but that it was a tossup between the Guatemala and Ripple coffee ice cream and the salted twisted pretzel ice cream. She told me the Guatemalan coffee one was the top seller so I went with a scoop of that. She gave me my scoop of ice cream, then she gave me the sample of the salted pretzel. The salted pretzel ice cream was delicious and I will be getting that the next time I go in. It's quite an odd / unique set up. They open early and they have eggs, toast, and coffee. I think it was $6.99. They serve sandwiches extremely affordable. The woman who helped me was extremely nice, and I will definitely be back when I'm in the area.“

The coffee was perfectly made, extremely good quality, and made exactly to my liking. The pastry was delicious as well. I would highly recommend checking out this new local coffee shop— way better than Starbucks!!!! This is my new favorite (and only) coffee spot in Wellington. My favorite coffee shop in WPB, Composition Coffee, has a comfy couch that is perfect for reading a book. “This place is like literal heaven on earth like the very best spot to just eat, relax, enjoy life while satiating your tastebuds. They have a mini library and you can sit and enjoy. Everything tastes great here like literally everything. The chai latte is my guilty obsession along with the bacon, avocado, egg sandwich. They don't have sodas here but I am sincerely hoping they have even canned ones soon. This is a very clean place, very courteous staff and you can bring your laptop to study, hang out with friends and enjoy your peace.“

“Hi everyone. This is my oat milk latte from subculture. I really enjoyed it. I find that the experience I have when patronizing subculture has changed dramatically over the years. The services is always nice. The baristas are professional, and they know their stuff; they also seem to enjoy working there. The food quality is still pretty aight although there's not as much fresh to order going on as there was back in the day. I miss those kinds of food selections. So there's nothing I can really highlight or complement except that they do make tasty empanadas with a nice variety of fillings. The ambience is kind of dark and moody where poets would seem to be hanging out lol. (that's coming from a life long poet by the way.) But yeah, the ambience isn't like it used to be; a little more vibrant and lot more artsy and family friendly. And I kinda miss that about it. But they still make a mean latte.“

There was a very rude customer before me and the owner handled the situation with a lot of class despite his persistency. She had so much elegance about it and was so kind to me after. When I first saw the coffee prices for a moment I second guessed my decision. But after drinking the iced cappuccino I have to say it was probably the best coffee I've ever had in my life.
