We recently dined at this restaurant and had an exceptional experience. The food was delicious, and the service, particularly from our server Daniel, was outstanding. Highly recommended!

The food wasn’t good. The lamb lahmacun was overpowered by tomato sauce taste and some grainy textured lamb minced meat with no flavour to anything except like you dip your pita in tomato marinara. Customer service was great. They did agree to swap the lahmacun with regular chicken kebob after it was almost impossible to get it down the throat. The lamb Dona Kebobs were dry and mild with some light touch of a sauce that wasn’t any flavourful. I wouldn’t recommend this as anything close to a Turkish restaurant. Try the other restaurant Bhospherpus, down the road. Extremely expensive and below average quality of food at this one.

The place is nice , very small and under staff . Our table waited about 20 minutes to get the drinks . The only thing that made us not walk out to the other Turkish was the customer service . The waitress was nice and sincere when she told us I’m by myself , she did her best .

Recently, I had the unforgettable pleasure of dining at this local Turkish treasure, and it was an evening that left a lasting impression. The moment we walked in, we were enveloped by the warm and welcoming atmosphere that promised an authentic Turkish culinary journey. Our adventure began with an array of starters that set the bar high for the rest of the meal. The Lavish bread was perfectly baked, its warm and fluffy texture pairing beautifully with the creamy, flavorful Babaganoush. The grape leaves and falafel were equally impressive, each bite a testament to the genuine care and tradition poured into every dish. For the main course, the lamb doner was simply sublime, tender and richly seasoned, transporting us straight to the heart of Turkey. The spinach pide was a revelation, a delicious blend of flavors encased in the most delicate, crispy crust. Our meal concluded on a high note with Turkish tea and baklava. The tea, aromatic and comforting, was the perfect accompaniment to the baklava, which was nothing short of divine. Each piece of baklava was a delicate balance of sweet, nutty, and flaky layers, leaving us savoring every last crumb. The service throughout the evening was impeccable, with staff who were not only attentive but also passionate about sharing their culture and cuisine. This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the rich flavors and warm hospitality of Turkey. I’m already looking forward to my next visit, eager to explore more of their exquisite menu.

Quality, a rarity these days but at Lale I was truly impressed with how tasteful and fresh the food is. Quaint and cozy atmosphere, service is decent. I really hope they maintain this standard of service.ps - This restaurant puts Bosphorous to shame!

I initially had planned to get some food at FarmHaus, but the wait time would have been 30 minutes. Lale is right across the street, and never been so figured I should go for it.The atmosphere was wonderful, and the server that attended me, Simge, was very attentive. I had let her know that I have a gluten intolerance and she was excellent in finding dishes and providing substitutes that accommodated me.The food was very much as expected: savory and flavorful.I hope to return, and with some friends in tow!Dietary restrictions: Are able to accommodate for gluten intolerance. Can not say if it's safe for those with gluten allergies or Celiac.

Truly one of a kind. I had high expectations but this place outdid everything I thought it would be .The food was spectacular. The Lamb tenderloin melted in my mouth. The desserts were delicious and so unique. They weren’t overpowering yet it was just the right amount of taste. The food was harmonious and after I at Lale now I understand what they mean by food being you joy. What they have here is truly authentic Turkish cuisine. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable about the food . Our server Bahar was so sweet. This place is one of a kind and worth every penny.

Food is really good but the portions are really small! The service is great and the atmosphere is nice and cozy. The water did taste pretty weird tho. We got the lamb loin sis kebab and it was cooked perfectly.

This place is as authentic as you can get for Turkish food. Everything we had was delicious. The lamb shank was a highlight! I would love to give 5 stars, because the servers were so attentive and accommodating - really you could tell they all wanted everyone to have the best experience, but there are a couple of things that made this less than ideal and something to keep in mind. We were there on a busy Saturday night and after ordering the hummus we were informed about ten minutes later they had run out of hummus (which has to be one of the most ordered items for anyone coming to a Turkish restaurant). It is small inside which was really loud and made it hard to carry on a conversation with the friends we were with - hoping to try the outdoor seating next time. The value and service was definitely a highlight and we won’t hesitate to go back and give it another try.

Food is amazing, but during rush hours or busy times, the service is not that great. We waited almost 1 hour for my son's food just because they forgot to place the order, and they did not offer anything in the meantime.
