I’d never been to this fast food restaurant. We happen to come across it while driving thru Lake Mary so we decided to try it. So glad we did! We ordered through the drive thru. Our food was ready within minutes. The tenders are double the size of what you get at other chicken places. They have different levels of heat. I was very surprised. Chicken was very fresh and tasty.

Way over priced!! The chicken had no flavor and It was covered in chili powder and had no spice at all. I do not recommend! I paid over $100 for my family for food that cost me $60 at most places we go to and 2 of my kids shared a meal so it would have been more.

Love this place! We have been to just The lake mary Blvd location and have only done take out (FYI) and we're happy each time. The mild and medium for me, but the hubby likes the hot. Either way we have a tasty fried chicken finger meal each time. We love the Sammy and sides the best. I've also heard the not chicken ( cauliflower) is supposed to be really awesome!! This is an easy pick for something fast and surprisingly delicious!

The only thing Dave's Hot Chicken has going for it is the chicken and the sauce. The chicken is always moist and the sauce is tasty, but the sides are lacking flavor and overall, Dave's is a little overrated. The service is fine and the dining room is fairly clean, but it's easier to go through the drive thru.

Stay away, overpriced and employees have 0 personality!! I see why the 3.6 star rating. Gave all the opportunity to make this a good vist but unfortunately they failed!!

Not sure what they put in the chicken but I keep wanting more! lol Its just a perfect amount of crispy and juicy chicken, pickles, caleslaw and Dave's sauce. Kids get giant tenders with a slice of bread that reminds me of angel cake. Soft and yummy. Both of my kids are excited to go there every time and they aren't the greatest eaters. Fries are just a perfect amount of crispy as well. Inside is spacious and there is a big outside patio seating area. Staff has been nice as well. We'll definitely keep coming back.Parking: Plenty of parking in front of the restaurant.

I came and ordered the #1, was a little annoyed that drinks weren't part of the combo and charged separately. Two tenders for 12$ with fries felt like a steep price and then having to add a drink as well for 2$ for just a small. Felt like the franchise is doing what it can to nickle and dime you.The quality of the food was good. The tenders were def top notch compared to other places you can go. Huey Magoos, KFC etc etc. Fries were crunchy and seasoned but the offered bread not being toasted or not even being an option to toats was a little upsetting.All in all I'd say it's just OK. Not a fan of the pricing. Combos doesn't even come with a drink. The only thing above expectations was the tenders.

You are greeted immediately upon entering and again told to enjoy your food once ready. Great customer service!Venue has lots of space to accommodate a large group and/or wheelchair accessibility.Food comes out hot and looks exactly as pictured.If you like paprika or similar seasoning you will love the coating on the chicken! Definitely juicy chicken strips!

Nice place to go for hot chicken tenders. Convenient location in Lake Mary, and also open relatively late everyday. They pretty much only have chicken tenders but themselves or can get them in sliders. The chicken is quite tasty, and you can choose your spice level. The spiciness is on a scale from lite mild all the way to the reaper! If you are not a big spicy eater, mild or medium is a good level to enjoy. After the "hot" going up you are at your own risk. You may have to sign a waiver to go for the Reeper. Their fries are also good, as is their special Dave's sauce.Service is usually very good and the staff is very friendly. They have indoor seating as well as covered outdoor seating. Good place to get a quick bite or even go as a group. Portion sizes are also pretty good.
