OMG, our dinner was sooooo delicious. Started off with Blue Crab Deviled Eggs, amazing. We ordered the 85 Day Aged Prime New Your Strip, and it just melts in your mouth. We also got the Wipped Mashed Potatoes and Creamed Spinach. The sides are large enough to share. Everything was incredible. We were very impressed with the whole experience. The manager came over and spoke with us for a while to make sure everything was to satisfaction. Our server kept checking on us and made several suggestions on other wonderful things to try. We ending dinner with a lots of leftovers which they boxed up for up. This is a very romantic atmosphere for the perfect date night. This is going to be our new spot to visit. Wow!!!

The food is bland. They advertise dry aged steaks which usually increases flavor and makes for a tender steak. The tenderness is there but the flavor is so plain. It’s incredibly expensive for something that severely lacks. A bologna sandwich offers more. The corn casserole is overly sweet like cake with zero complexity. It’s missing salt and pepper, among other things. The Japanese style milk bread was good. They drinks and service were good as well. The food needs to do better. If you want a good flavorful steak, go to Kres in Orlando.

This was our third time and we appreciate the consistent quality of both the food and the service. Great high-end dinner. Four of us, two drinks, apps/entrees/sides/desserts and the meal came to $360 with tip (about $180 per couple). Wait staff are awesome and the food was fantastic! Try the milk bread, the Sea Bass, the creamed spinach as well as the Pave potatoes, and the toffee dessert. The Sea Bass was my personal highlight. Great place for any special date nights.

We had an outstanding experience with F&D celebrating our Anniversary. They even included a card and a free dessert. Everything we ordered was superb and the steaks are mouth watering delicious! Thanks so much for going the extra mile! This is our second time and I'm impressed that both times the Manager visited our table multiple times during the night to check on us and make some recommendations. We love this place.

We don't eat red meat but wanted to try this restaurant because it has a really great bar area and we liked the ambiance. The service was excellent. We ordered the chicken. It wasn't very good. The consistency of the meat was strange. It needed cut with a knife. My husband ordered the fish which itself was a good piece, but he didn't like how it was prepared. The French Onion Soup and the Ceasar salad were very salty. They told us next time they'd make a note that we didn't like salty food but we won't be back there to eat. We may stop by for a drink at the bar. Dessert was a huge piece of chocolate cake but it wasn't very moist and didn't have much flavor.

We have been enjoying the F & D restaurant ever since it opened years ago.I am so impressed with the renovation that has taken place inside the restaurant. It is so elegant. On St. Patrick's Day, we celebrated my wife's 77th birthday. She is a 100% Irish girl born in Boston on St. Patrick's Day.What a wonderful experience. We enjoyed a magnificent and beautiful meal. Our server, Kate, took such good care of us and she even lit the candles on the cake.

Absolute perfection in every way! Mel, our server was very attentive and welcoming in every way. The GM was sure to check on us to ensure we were happy with everything. The bread, the tuna tartare sampler, filet, 40/40 strip, and all of the food were excellent, zero complaints. Large portions with the sides as well. The lobster mac actually had a lot of lobster in it as well. Will definitely be going back, and plan to host some corporate events here in the near future.

Where do I start?I made reservations, checked-in at the front. I was a bit early. The hostess said it would be closer to my reservation time until my friend and I could be seated which was fine, we would sit at the bar and she could let us know when our table was ready. My friend and I ordered 1 drink each. I looked at the clock and it was 5 minutes past our reservation so we went to ask about our table. Hostess said it would be just another 5 minutes which turned into about 15, I think she forgot until we went back over there. We were seated. At first we had high hopes for the waitress, she seemed like she would be good upon the first initial interaction with her. That quickly changed. When she dropped off our menus, she didn't come back to take our order for probably 15 minutes or so. She sold me on saying this shrimp appetizer with a bread add-on were amazing together. My friend ordered a new York strip that the waitress highly recommended. The shrimp I ordered came out without the bread. I informed the waitress of my concerns and she said don't worry it will be right out. About 10 minutes passed and it still wasn't out. Eventually it comes out, I told her I was expecting to have it together. She asked if I wanted her to remake it (kind of a stupid question). Comes back out with the bread, shrimps already kind of cold but it wasn't a big deal, I just wanted to eat.The rockerfeller oysters were hands down THE WORST I've ever had. Barely any oyster and basically completely spinach (not even sure if there was cheese on it).My friends crab cakes were pretty good. No idea where our waitress even was, so the assistant GM brought out the seafood macaroni. I told her it was cold. She asked my friend if she wanted it reheated or remade (stupid question again, why would you just reheat it in a fine dining establishment). I also explained to her this was our first time here and about my shrimp and how the waitress is always disappearing and I doubt I would be back, it was a bad first impression. When she brought back out the remade macaroni, she offered to take the macaroni off the bill to make it right. My friend asked me to try it and asked if it seemed crunchy to me or if it was just her imagining it, but she was right, it was not fully cooked. I told the assistant GM again, and she asked if she wanted it remade and she said no you can just take it off the bill.Eventually our entrees come out. My filet came out without the Oscar crab topping. My friend wasn't a fan of the recommended steak. We usually take home our leftovers but she just left it because she knew she wouldn't want to eat it later.Waitress comes by with desert menus, literally just sets them on our table. Didn't say anything at all and then just walks to another table and starts talking to them for like 5 minutes. We did want desert, but not after this service so we opted out.It was like almost $200 just for myself for mostly subpar food and 2 drinks. My friend had 2 drinks also and we both woke up with headaches and feeling hungover so not sure what kind of cheap alcohol they are using but 2 drinks shouldn't make you feel like you were binge drinking the night before, especially at $17 a pop.To conclude, the hostesses didn't know what they were doing it seemed/weren't punctual, the waitress should work at a Denny's/a sports bar, not a "fine dining" establishment, if the assistant GM is bringing out food for the waitress it kind of makes you question why someone in that role would need to do that, and for the assistant GM to ask questions how she did makes me feel like she's not very experienced herself and offered no real resolutions and didn't seem to honestly care, in my opinion. The decor of the place was nothing special either.I gave it a 2/5 because although the drinks gave me a headache, they tasted good, and my filet mignon was pretty good.I won't be back.

From the first cocktail to the dessert the whole dining experience was above and beyond expectancy. When it came to celebrating my brothers birthday I asked him where we going, he wanted steak but was tired of the same old selections on this side of Orlando. Christner's, Ruth Chris, Backroom, Figs we have been to them all and nothing new or exciting. Through the buzz around town everyone said to go and check out what the did with F & D and glad we did. Lobster Tempura, Shrimp Cocktail, Bone in Ribeye's Key Lime Pie and complimentary Brownie a la mode (Birthday Dessert) The Japanese Milk Bread is dangerous in the best way. Service by Kate was exemplary. Just when you would expect it Danno pops in to make sure we are enjoying our evening out. Amazing Staff and Management I will be sure to keep the Buzz going.

This is the best fine dining restaurant in Central Florida. The food, service, and the ambience are unequalled. Some of our favorites include: The Prime Ceasar or the Wedge Salad Nueske's Smoked Bacon Steak (appetizer) Garlic Shrimp Scampi (appetizer) All of the steaks The Salmon The Filet Tournedos Whatever you do, save room for dessert. You won't understand until you see them. A lot of restaurants have key lime pie but none come close to the size and the flavor of the one at F&D Prime and it's my second favorite on their list. Their best dessert is the Toffee Cake. There is no other restaurant in the area that even comes close to F&D Prime. Highly recommended.

F&D Prime is our new favorite place to enjoy a meal in Lake Mary. The NY strip is fantastic and the spinach and potatoes are some of the best we've had at any steakhouse. Great spot!

Overall a fantastic meal with service to match! We got the deviled eggs and oysters Rockefeller, which were both delicious. The Japanese milk buns were amazing so if you go make sure you try them. We split the pear salad (nothing special). For entrees, I got the Wagyu Ribeye (delicious and cooked perfectly) and also tried out each of the 3 sauces (all were good but steak sauce was a little too sweet) and my wife got the scallops (cooked perfectly but pretty boring dish otherwise.) We got lobster mac and cheese (nothing special) and the corn soufflé (very tasty) as sides. For dessert, the crème brûlée cheesecake was very good. It was a very pricey meal, but a great place for a special occasion. We will be back but skipping the scallops and lobster Mac next time.

Amazing. One word can truly be used to sum it all up. The service, food and atmosphere all surpassed my expectations going into dinner this evening. The Wagyu Ribeye was amazing, cooked to perfection and prepared beautifully. The sides, in particular the creamed spinach and fried brussel sprouts were delicious. Topping it all off was the toffee cake, just wow. I travel nationally for work and frequent high end steakhouses around the country, F&D prime to my surprise is definitely in my top 3 nationwide with a legitimate bid on being in the conversation for #1. This will be my new primary steakhouse in Central FL. Keep up the great work!
