“Nice place, very welcoming and there is a wonderful outdoor space to enjoy as well. Drinks and food were great and prices are more than far. Service from Matt and Katie were spot on! Would recommend making this a destination to come and unwind. They have lots of events so there is something for everyone!“

Charlie is the Michelin star chef of the dive bar world and Kat will make you a cocktail meaner than her bite. I highly recommend if you are looking for a place that knows your name and what you drink.“

“The food was great and the service excellent. I had the bangers and mash with the onion gravy...highly recommended! Hubs had the steak and mushroom pie and he said it was good. The only two downsides of the place was the broken clutter laying around and the very dim lighting in the ladies room. We will definitely return next time we are in town. Hopefully they will have the pear cider by then!“

“SBC is our go-to stop for lunch and a growler refill when we fly into Sanford; we've come to expect really good food and service which is what keeps us coming back. Our most recent stop was on Thursday and our server was Chris. The bar has been set high in the past, but Chris was exceptional. He chatted a little, checked in with us regularly, and was always working. Without exception, just when we would think we were ready for something, he was magically right there on the spot. Very impressive and worth noting. We had the pretzel bites and grilled mahi sandwich. Food was really good as usual, but the service was especially worthy of a shoutout.“

“Starts as a normal bar experience (pool tables/dart boards). Then you look at the menu; a terrific variety. Everything I've had has been excellent. They also have the AMI virtual jukebox, if that's your thing.I've been there several times, even a couple of times with my daughter, and have enjoyed every experience.A bit of a warning - at busy times they may ask for a card in advance to secure the tab. I've experienced this maybe 1/4 of the times I've been there. I suppose it helps to know in advance.Overall, every ecperience had been terrific and I highly recommend.Also, before you order, ask what the filling for the meat pie is that day.It may change your mind.“

“Food is always on point with a great twist on anything from wings to hot dogs. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Depending on the how i feel would change what I drink. Stepped out with a few friends. Some of us have go to drinks some of us let the bartender pick. I believe Rick was our bartender that last couple times we visited and when I say he doesn't miss I mean it. He can make any type of drink along with recommend the perfect drink if your a regular or need a suggested. Already planning our next outing.“

I appreciated the the stage help, and hope everyone in the entire space enjoyed the live music.Leighann and David took great care of our 50-60 guests, keeping food and drinks coming out, serving cake, and cheerfully managing so many separate checks.This party had been postponed since 3/2020; happy to finally have everyone together.Definitely recommend this space for similar events.
