Nice people but the food is terrible. We ate in, but they really aren't set up for it. Wonton soup has no flavor at all. Broth is colored water. Egg rolls are mostly cabbage. Fried rice seems steamed and not fried. None of the food has seasoning or flavor. They use the tiniest shrimp available. Worst chinese food in the area.

I’ve been living in Lake Mary for a little over eight years and every time we are in the mood for Chinese food we always call Shanghai. The service is always great and the food is ready within 10 to 15 minutes and it’s always hot and delicious. Ordered take out and I have to say this is now the best pork fried rice I've had since my high school days when we used to go to a place on Fox Valley in Longwood. It's not the yellow nasty kind with frozen peas. It's so flavorful and the pork is truly roasted and delicious-- perfection!

The food was still very hot. I ordered chicken wings and egg rolls and it was super crispy and not soggy. The egg roll was very flavorful. The boneless spare ribs were very chewy and the sauce is sweet and tangy. The lady who took my order was very sweet and nice. I recommend this place 100%!!

I ordered pickup and it took around 10-15 minutes to pick up my food. The food was super delicious and tasty. I ordered the large pepper steak and sesame chicken. The steak was very tender and had the right amount of sauce and the sesame chicken was very crispy and well cooked in the sauce. Definitely ordering again!

3.5 starts, it's not that I want to rate it 3.5 (5s across the board), but I have to. It's the golden rule of finding the best Chinese take out. "Exactly three and a half, not three, not four. Three-and-a-half stars is a sweet spot for authentic Chinese food." And they certainly have it.
I ordered plain lomein and noticed something small and black in my food. At first, I thought maybe it was seasoning but it seemed off that it would just be one small grain of seasoning. As I took it out I immediately noticed that it was a small black bug! I was completely disgusted and threw out all of the food. The general tso’s chicken also did not taste right, it tasted like it had pork in it and definitely didn’t taste like chicken. I will never eat here again. ?
