I only order the chicken fingers from Steak n Shake, and they used to be amazing, the best around. I've had trouble with the Lake Mary location with drive through orders. I get shorted or they aren't cooked enough. I've even spoken to the general manager there, which was a waste of time. Employees at the window are lacking as well.I ordered chicken tenders two nights ago and they were DISGUSTING. They were almost RAW. I had to cook them when I got home. They cost almost $12 for 6 pieces!Screwing up my order every time I go to Lake Mary is getting old and expensive. There are so many other restaurant options along Lake Mary Blvd.I will NEVER go to Lake Mary Steak n Shake again.

Shake was good but they forgot to give us half our order and we had to go up to ask for it 20 minutes later. It wasn't busy and the seats and everything were pretty clean.

This location seems to have some off the rudest employees. I went to pickup my order that I had placed online thru the streak ‘n shake app. Once I got there I saw my order was sitting in the online pickup area so street retrieving my food I noticed the milkshakes that in ordered weren’t there. At that time I was approached by someone behind the counter stating that “they said they need to see your phone with the order”. So I complied and showed the lady the confirmation of my order, she then rolled her eyes then called for someone else to come look at my phone. She came looked at the phone then picked up the bag of food looked at the receipt then practically threw the bag down on the counter and said that looked fine, the original lady then said she was going to go make the milkshakes. About 3 minutes later and man came up and asked if we had been helped, I told him I believe they’re making the milkshakes now. He then told me that he was going to go make the milkshakes for us. He proceeded to the back and just stared at us from the window in the back. About 5 minutes later the Fi original lady came back with attitude and said “here’s your shakes”. When we looked at the shakes, the cups were filled maybe halfway and that was including the whip cream. Overall it was a horrible waste of time going to this location and I regret ordering food from there

The young lady in the drive thru has the worst customer service skills I've ever experience. The Manager was even worse. And now I understand why their services has declined in the past few years. I've worked in this area for almost 10 years, visited this location under different management and the service was wayyyyyyyyy better.

My husband just came home from going through the drive thru and what he ordered is not what we got. How hard is it to make a burger that is on the receipt. Horrible. What a waste of money.

It's not the place that Steak and Shake used to be. You order at a kiosk, not to a waitperson, and pick up your food when called. It's more efficient, I suppose, but not as friendly. The range of shakes is also much reduced: just the standards like chocolate and vanilla, no mocha or mint, but with "stuff" in it (chocolate chips, crumbled cookie bits, etc., which I personally detest). But the rest of the menu is familiar, and just as high quality as always. The burgers and shoestring fries are great. I'm still a fan, but I miss the old style, and I wish they'd reconsider the change.

I really can't see any reason for the dirty condition of the restaurant. As you can see from my video, I was the only person there. 90% of the tables were dirty as well as the seats. I don't think it's too much to ask for a clean place to eat. You know how some people work hard to not work. That's what was happening here.
