I come in occasionally to play pool with my friends and always get great service. All the bartenders are super friendly and attentive. Jason is a great guy and definitely deserves a shout out for making the atmosphere as friendly as it is!

Absolutely love this place. All the bartenders are attentive and amazing!!As a single woman I feel comfortable coming here and the staff seems to watch out for you. The drinks are good and strong. Yes, it's a smoking bar but the air circulation is pretty good so it's not overwhelming. There are pool tables and darts and decent bar food. If you need balance then stop by fresh market on your way home.

Thirsty Whale is amazing! Best drinks and bartenders in Lake Mary! Shannon and David took amazing care of us every time we come in! This bar is an EVERYONE WELCONE kind of bar. I highly recommend stopping in! Dont listen to the nasty review by the disgruntled previous customer who got kicked out for good reasons. I stopped by for a drink with my son and racist Shannon will not let David serve me a beer!!! She was arguing with Jenn!!! Never going there again!!! She has to be fired not the first time this happened and as I was leaving she laughed wow really!!! I hope the owners look at this post and how she is still employed it's a freaking shame!!! Lost me and my 50 friends that always come in and spend im talking my business somewhere else!!!! Nice and Easy

I stopped by for a beer and Shannon screamed at me accusing me of giving her a bad review!!! It wasn't me but now I am going to, Shannon is the worst bartender ever how does the thirsty whale still has there working, I was there for 20 minutes after she yelled at me for no reason at all!!! She needs to go, everytime I come in she won't serve me and my wife or my friends, she accused me of calling her a racist and now I believe with all my heart she is!!! She really has a problem!!! Thanks to Jason that came in and served me!!! we really like this place just not Shannon

The environment is fun but stay away from the manager, Celina,she drinks on the job and gets your drinks wrong, then she chases you down telling you to give her bigger a tip because she "served" you. If you don't she won't leave you alone until she gets cash from you.I honestly never seen a "manager" drunk working in a bar. If you come make sure you don't get any "service" from Celina the manager
